Zyraxes, this is already being addressed.  At the moment only Strail and Vector-X have access to update the download section and I flagged this with Vector-X to be updated, I'll check up on it again soon.

That's the auto-update project I've been working on. Development has slowed a bit recently due to a spate of interviews (as I got made redundant and need to find another job above all else). When it's done it'll essentially be exactly that, it'll automatically check for updates and process them ...

@ Zarg: there's been no money wipe. Sounds like your char got auto-deleted because you didn't log in with it for an extended period of time. I think it's one and a half months, but if I'm mistaken, others will correct me. Ask the admins, but remember to give them your character name.
