As for making rules surrounding bounties I'm sorry but they're essentially unenforcable and thus impractical..frankly I don't like the whole bounty system anyway and even it's creator doesn't run them on his server because of the abuse..

That said we are a part of the beta test group for this software and thus we are running all aspects of it.

One thing I will make clear about bounties if you use the /loc command and find that the target is up or down any further than a reasonable 20k let me know on the server...also if they're clearly off the boundaries of the map let me know because this is where the majority of abuses are occuring.

Reginning is now and will continue to be perfectly acceptable within the rules..and as I've said a dozen times already if you insult someone for regenning be prepared to spend 3 days thinking about how stupid you were.

KAHLESS i told from the start that i didn't want to make a big deal out of it, i was just saying that because of regening and fast ships like Bashee or Discovere Bounty hunting isn't working.

And sinds when is The Void a test groupe of freelancer. WE OWN FREELANCER  :lol:  :lol:  :P  :P  :P  8)  8)  8)

I agree that Regenning is not illegal.  :roll:  I also agree that it is a bit unsporting in personal combat.

Since it is not illegal, Kahless has a good point when he says that an agreement should be made before entering into combat as to whether or not B/B will be used. I think most voidians have a tacit agreement that it will not be used unless otherwise said, but maybe that's just me. Well anyway, my point is this:

In my most humble opinion  :D  I think that it should be written.. and yes I do mean written... that if one enters into a /bounty then that action in and of itself constitutes an agreement to not use B/B. It would be simple as that. If you want to start a bounty hunt you agree that you will not regen.

I mean come on people. I too have been "victim" of a bounty regenning when caught. It is quite annoying. It is a game. Yes. And the bounty hunt is a game within the game. It should have rules. When the A-Team ran it there were rules. Why shouldn't there be rules in this as well?

we're not a test group fro freelancer (more's the pity) but we are beta testing certain serverside software which is responsible for the bounty hunt system in the first place..you cannot have bounty hunts like this in normal freelancer servers modded or otherwise without additional software

really boring and affect the gameplay we all come here for play and have a good time not for do a kind of politic

so its why i think its time to make a move member of the a team i know you all doing a dammmm good jobfor

this server and you work hard on it but i think the regen problem take a lot place on this server and its time to

solve the problem btw i say all this and i also cry about regen sometime I CAN SAY IT but its nothing vs all

kahless i agree  with u on the point that it not ilegal but there are alot of servers that treat people who regen  for no good reason how they should be treated ......like noobs....... and i agree the game should be fun for ALL not  a percentage .  um is the word  noobs classed as an insault hear?????? if so i am sry and feel free to del this post

Depends on context...describe yourself as a noob all you want..describe someone else as a noob and you are being insulting.

Don't forget that the term noob is intended to be an insult, by using it you are implying that the person you use the word to describe has the same level of skill as a brand new player..this is an insult however you try to defend it..the word began life as an insult and remains an insult

If I see the term "regenning n00b" or anything remotely like it aimed at a person then the person responsible has a 3 day vacation..you ALL know this and there are NO excuses

I did not say its illegal to use it, i said we shoult make a rule of this 'role play'.

And hard is also true against a good player.
Running from the fight makes it impossible to fight therefor not hard but useless to engage .

Thank god that most /bounty users know what i'm trying to say and dont use nano's.

And again i did not mean to make a big issue out of this so dont say i whine about this.
