After completing the game a couple of year ago, it's sat dormant in the depths of my computer for so long which is strange as it's such a well designed and balanced game.
A couple of days ago I made use of the multiplayer option for the first time, having forgotten it existed. Anyway, I played on a couple of the server's that people host, only to find that there was only a couple of others playing. So in my attempts to find a server with a little more activity. I have found this place, Installed the mod and had a little look round, even being greeted by another players
Anyways, the multiplayer version seems to bring a new life into the game, so I've decided I'm going to stick around. My multiplaying experience is limited as is the information I have regarding the mod. So for the next few day's I'm going to be rather noobish, discovering the new items, the chat function, about how you guy's play, the pirates and rouges characters people take part in, all this clan stuff (Might look into joining one someday after I am more familiar with this online play) and Pvp - as well as familiarizing with the maps and where half the stuff was.
I'm a little rusty. But I'm a quick learner and have played several Mass Multiplayer games before so I should be at full speed soon.
So Hello to current players. Looking forward to really getting into battle again

Welcome to the VOID and merry xmas even tho its late
hope u stay long its a great server with many good ppl and friends :)
check all different RP's and clans before joining one as u might find u rushed into it quickly, but anyways the most important thing is... FUN and hope u have lots of it.
Thanks for the welcome everyone, and a Merry Late Christmas too all...
I Thank Xenon for the clan invitation but, at this time, although I have been reading briefly about them, I have not yet learned anywhere near enough about how the clans work or operate within
the Void to be joining any of them at this date.
It is something I will be looking into as I've been involved with clans in other multiplayer games before and have met some great people and made a number of friends, however, from the advice given to me here and previous experiences of seeing guilds/clans run, I will take my time before joining any clan. Friendship of any kind, is of course valued.
Sorry to disappoint Zebulon, I'm on the other side of the county near Colchester where I attend University, but I pass though Romford every time I head to a London gig. I have mates who live there though :p In the event you know a Laura who's a third year Maths student at Colchester University, tell her to stop listening to the Spice Girls - Its not good for her :p
Anyways, Thanks for the welcome everyone. If you see someone sailing the skies under the name of TheFlamingRed, that's (hopefully) me, so feel free to come chat.
