Aye, a bit. It was the redhead's retirement gift to me. She doesn't go about spending on me like this all the time... LOL
It ran about $6800. But it's worth it. I also do my art on it. Which, btw, I am now selling. I also have some hanging in a local museum art gallery this month. :D So you might say it's a business expense.
Hmmmm... wonder if I can write it off.....

Re: Gaming Rigs
Lol look at you lot..
This is the stone age P.O.C. I'm still using
Manufacturer: Me
CPU: AMD Athlon XP3000+ @2167mhz 333mhz FSB
Ram: 1 gb 333mhz (one 512 dual sided stick with 2 single sided 256megs sticks)
Mobo: Asus A7V8X-X
HDD: 120gig Maxtor 7200rpm 8meg cache IDE
Video: ATI X800GTO/PRO 256meg stock clocks AGP 8X
Sound: Onboard AC97 7 to 1 channel
Monitor: Hansol 710p 17inch CRT 1600x1200 (I leave it at 1024x768 85htz 32bit though)
Speakers: creative soundworks 200watt quadrophonic system
PSU: Mercury 400watt (nothing fancy at all but I'm hardly pushing it)
Cooling: AMD retail CPU cooler plus one 4 inch case fan (nothing flash again but does the job)
Case: some cheap black and silver thing
Keyboard: Genius 105key standard
Mouse: Packard bell optical usb
Disks: one 16/10/32 cdrw and one 20/14/8/48/32 dvd/cdrw
Nothing at all flash and it only began to really struggle when the graphics card became 3 generations too old but since I've effectively given up on the whole PC gaming thing in favour of cheaper more reliable consoles (where the games I like to play are usually found anyway in full pelt HD) this old box does what I want it to, run emulators for even more stone age machines like the NES, SNES, Amiga, PSX and Sinclair Spectrum woohoo...see you can either blow 2grand on a pc that'll run the new games for about 6 months or blow 2ton on a 360...easy choice really.

LOL...
Mine is moreless the same spec's execpt for a couple of bits. Mine only costs £631.00 TOTAL Including Delivery.
I hate buying computers outta shops or websites as they over charge. Your better to build it yourself as you will know what you are putting in it and you will get it cheaper.
Nice rig anyways ;)
