Imo,a flame section isn't really a good idea.

The problem is the structure of the flame itself.As Xenon pointed out flames represent various negative emotions which in the long run will only cause trouble in-game it self.

Though it is unlikely that people would become forum warriors,they would certainly spend more time in the forums replying back to all the posts made that are flames,either to defend themselves or attack.This is turn would eat up their time spent in-game.

Yes,people take things personally here,but the point is to discourage and stop people from doing it and not to encourage it.

A flame is like a snowball that is rolling down the hill.As it gains more speed it becomes bigger and bigger gaining more momentum in turn and becomes only more bigger.

By encouraging people to express their personal views about others would NOT stop these flames but only increase them.

A community must weed out such things and not encourage it.

The proper manner is to keep one's mouth shut instead of trying to lower other people's stature.
If you think negatively of somebody then there is not much use to 'abuse' in front of him,abuse him all u want but not in the open,in the community.

hmmmm......Seeing that we are all making a fuss about ignoring people I am going to lock this - it has run its course.

One final closing word on this.  Personaly, I dont feel that "Flame Thread Locations" actualy help with the VOID - sure we all want to get stuff off our chest, but sometime that is best done via our own clan webpages and through personal messages.   Open threads with abuse and vented stress and nonesense dont realy go to help things as there are those who wont be able to keep it on the thread alone and will take it all very personaly and into the game and other locations..... So PERSONALY I say no to such a thread.  Want to beeeach about someone? Do it on the appropriate location on your clan web page and not here.
