Have the Reavers become a forums only clan?

What times (GMT) are most of the Reavers on? so I can match this by playing at these times

Is there open diplomacy with other clans if so, please post new diplomacy standard .

REAVER Web site, I cannot post in most places, only in general discussion, could someone fix please

REAVER base I cannot land there, would be nice to land at the base of the team I belong too.

I understand that time zones, and work schedules conflict with game times, I understand it all too well, as I work a variety of shifts, from midnights to days, to afternoons, to 18 hours straight shift. I also understand people just don;t like us because we deficated in their cheerios or something. I know the odds of surviving a fight, when multiple clans are involved. I have seen one REAVER online in the last three days, he was apparently docked in Sparta and was not being talkative. I chose to return, cause I believe the REAVERS are a good clan, to keep going, and if Watchwolf had not taken the reins I would have asked to take them, to keep it alive. I want to see the REAVERS fight it out with their enemies, but one fighter is useless against three or four enemies. What is my point...

Well, since Maverick desided to kill off the clan, an outpouring of support came out, people jumped to return to the ranks of the Evil clan, so it would not die. I also jumped at the chance, as has my wife, who for some reason cannot get freelancer to work on her computer, we are working on it, to retunr to the bloody uniform of the REAVERS. so the clan survives, but with all the hostiles out here, for how long.
If we cannot field more then one ship at a time, we will no longer be considereda threat, since if we can only field one or two ships, an the oppsing clans can field 5 or 6 we will be wiped out quickly, and lose the heart to play.

I play as -=REAVERS=-Blood-Rage, this is my only tag,I noticed a Black Legion Rage, my name is not out their to disrespect his, I chose it, cause well, I chose  a name that was differant then any other I had used, So Rage if you read the forums, I am not out to disrespect you, if you think there is an issue let me know via PM.

REAVERS got there next chance at survival, I am out there, dying.....alone..... alot....... little help would be nice....

I can't speak for the others but I can for myself:

As I think everyone knows by now, I have this really crappy temporary internet connection. I lag all the time. Sometimes very badly. I read that if you lag you can make the whole server lag, at least in the same system if not the whole place. I don't want to be the one to do that. Even if that's not true it's still a drag to try to fight when my screen freezes all the time and to others I am jumping all over the place. So I stay off-line most of the time.

But you're right as far as I'm concerned.

I want to see what time zones -=REAVERS=- live. That way we can plan on being on at the same time.

About the -=REAVERS=- forum, it was supposed to have been taken down so I haven't done anything with it. As far as I know parts of it are inactive so maybe that is why you can't post. We have applied for a new site through Strail and his offer here. When that comes up I will actively be working on it. What else have I got to do ... regarding the Void and the -=REAVERS=- anyway?

Our diplomacy hasn't changed all that much. I will post our public diplomacy again with any corrections. We have no alliances as of yet. Agreements may not necessarily be publicly known. I should write all members with any details if that is appropriate.

I still have a great deal going on other than the Void.... but and I repeat BUT I have made a commitment here and so this is part of my priorities. But I will say that certain things on the... er, domestic front have not been ...er, conducive to being in any game atm. I slip in when I can. If you've ever faced an angry redhead, you'd understand. The bruises will heal..... LOL

Well Jase all I can say is that what you describe there was the very reason for my decision to cancel the clan. We have tried for a long time, and over that time our efforts have proven fruitless time and time again. And at some point you gotta realize that it just isn't working.

Anyway I'm not saying this goes for your 3rd generation of Reavers, it's just that I was expecting this problem to stick his head back up, just not so soon.
As many have pointed out on the disbandment thread I posted: - Even though it's very comforting to read all the supportive post to please keep the Reavers alive, it is always the question how many of those people will actually come forth and do something actively to support you. And as we all expected, it looks like nobody - or maybe just a few - did anything...

The best thing to keep a clan alive is to show off the tag in game. And that is just the one thing that is proving difficult for many, especially when you have a clan with members of a higher age, who have jobs, hobbies, families, kids, and besides Freelancer other things to spend their time on.

All I can say is (and I know this goes for the Saints as well) is good luck and stick to it. But it aint gonna be easy. And don't be afraid to make the right decision when the time comes. No matter what people will say. It's just a game after all.

And before any discussion arises again and people say "Look at yourself with your Saint clan which is also not working":
As I said I realize this also goes for the Saints, and any other newly starting clan, except Marauders - they have done very well up till now. But the Reavers had another problem back then: the hard-core RP and the inability to forge alliances. This made them the very secluded group that they were, as the majority of players was not feeling drawn to that policy. Most people just wanna hang out and shoot people, nice and simple, without the need of having to bother with all sorts of blah blah stuff.
In that light I think the changes made to the Reavers policy are good ones, and could drastically improve its chance of survival. Now there's only the lack of new flesh to overcome, but you guys are already doing a better job then the Saint, which is a bit more selective still and therefore also not as active as they should be yet. Which by the way can - again - also be blamed on my own lack of time to play.
Even so, the Saints do not have to bother with anything overly complicated, it's just pure and simple PvP fun. Next to the fact that we just don't let anybody in.

What I'm trying to say here is that this reply I am writing now, could also be about the Saints, some people would say. But it isn't. Because the tag always allows you to just sit on your Rock and have a nice chat, or a PvP if the situation calls for it. Which is actually the whole RP story. And this time there is nothing like a complicated RP background, big scheduled raids, long hunts or anything to follow. If the whole thing doesn't work, there would be no problem for me being the only tagged Saint flying about in Sparta having a PvP or a chat.
These are hard times guys and I think you should be very happy if you can get 2 members in game at the same time. Even though some people like to use the comparison, there is no way you can compare clans like the Reavers or the Saints - who have just started - to large clans like for example Dacia or 4S. Trying to compare yourself to those, or trying to live up to their example regarding numbers, is not realistic anymore, you gotta realize that.

WW: please don't take my disgruntle rant personally, I know the pain of real world issues, over game time, with that said, get your RW stuff inline, you don't want to lose what you have, it can keep you warm at night. I play on East coast, USA, so figure -5 GMT. I  was venting, and probably should have stopped posting before I hit enter. As for the cla I am not going anywhere, I have in the past left the REAVERS twice, but not this time, I may not always agree with policy, but I stand behind your decisions, on all aspects of the clan operations.


maybe the problem is my lack of faith with the other members, maybe its how I play the game ( ussually as a Rogue) I want to see the clan survive, and I just want to be the threat we boast about in the forums.

@Jase... didn't mean it that way. Just offering my excuses for not being in game. Don't sweat it. Do what you do best... fight. That's the point of the -=REAVERS=-, that's what we're here for. After a while we'll gain the respect we deserve.

@Mav... Thanks for your insights. These things take time. I might not be the most hands-on leader but I will hang in there anyway.

@Dust... Where I come from getting fixed is a bad thing. Like, "I got my cat fixed..." Usually done to keep them from prowling and yowling all night. But on the other hand.... maybe that's the issue???  :D

Erm u kinda lost your style when u put on that tag, I was watching you in sparta yesterday.
With just yourself out there charging into not only the mass of navy but also hostile evils will only make you frustrated.

O and m8 - all those missiles just wont work in any system with 10+ people in it. - No tracking.

I guess its one of those things.  It was an issue I had when I started the clan up.  But here is an idea for you.  If you find yourself in your -=REAVERS=- tags flying solo - then do the hit and run thing - be a raider.  Plunder the heart out of traders and make then come after you.  It kinda goes with the tag.  At least I always felt it did.  I have been online (GMT) with four -=REAVERS=- members - so at one time there were five online - I am certain we have managed more than that.  Keeping the tag alive is not an easy task when there is a wide spread membership.  Players come and go.  Its not an easy RP to stick with either and you can soon become weary of the solo flight thing, just ask the Eclipse chaps and the BBD when their numbers started to dwindle.  

Hang in there and someone is certain to turn up!  Im scuppered due to shift work and such so its not always easy for me to be in game.  I keep trying......  See you out there sometime
