The United States' gross debt in 2008 was around 10 trillion dollars (around 70% of their national GDP). That is a lot of debt, but if you want to be rich you need to be in debt -- this is how the current (flawed) money system works. Just to give you a perspective -- the ratio of external debt to GDP in France is 210%, in the UK it's 375%, in Germany 160%, while in Ireland it's is a whopping 960%!! Yet they are still lending to and receiving loans from others.
I don't know what other "conspiracy theories" you may have had heard and what criteria you use for labeling something a "conspiracy theory", so perhaps you could enlighten me and the others who are having the same questions for you.
And before you start typing anything, ask yourself if you have the degree of maturity required to take part in such conversations, because the arguments in your previous post were -- and I'm quoting this --

Out of all the things that one can bring up, u got a blog.
A blog,which is the source of information that one can least trust on internet because it always biased.

After that it links up reports on Baxter's financial health.(One as as old as 2003)
It then conjures up a relationship between Indonesia,Obama and Baxter,a far fetched one.(The report doesn't even mention Obama and the quality is so poor it said DNA was made of amino acids,an error later corrected but it indicates the quality)
Notice the comments after the post was made,it digresses from Baxter and H1N1 and concentrates on Obama bashing.
Lots of Fox News lovers,which indicates from where it is coming.

The reason why they are still swimming is because the debts are being financed by likes of China.
China is the first holder of U.S. bonds
Foreign countries buy U.S. debt as an investment of their surplus U.S. Dollars.
Primarily due to primacy of US dollar.
So i can also say China will swallow up US and US will join China.Get real. ;)

Why would Canada join US?
All NWO conspiracy theories have this major component of Canada joining the US.
For years this has been put forward yet i don't see it moving in that direction at all.(Fellow Voidians who are Canadians can give their views on this)
