Cant connect to the void server

I have mod manager and the void clinet up to date plus the direct ip  but when i go to the multiplayer i cant connect because its icompatiable need help

Right click on Freelancer Mod Manager > Run as administrator

Restore backups
Activate mod
Right click on Freelancer > Run as administrator

i tried again and it still has not worked my compadiblity is in xp and i did run as admin, void server is greyd out with a red version number

Do you have already played the Freelancer game in multiplayer and do you have played a different version than 1.0, or is it your first experience with FLMM and a mod?
Are you sure that you have activated the one and the right mod in your FLMM?

i havent played MP because it can never connect to the server on the void i get a ton of serverlists but version umber is red and my version number reads 1.0 at the lower end of my scren and i am using the Freelancer modder correctly

And with clear 1.0 version, without any mod, you can connect to any other 1.0 vanilla unmodded server?
All servers you can compare them by their pings and versions for example, and you'll have a small numbers of mods above.

We still don't know if a major problem is in your comp - Win7, firewall etc, or you can play the game in multiplayer on other servers and your problem is only with the Void.
Advise you is not a problem, but you must tell us more information.

Hey guys, I'm back

I'm not sure if the problem persists or not, but I decided to try it again, since I've switched to win7 in the meantime. You never know, I guess.

However, I've encountered the same problem listen in this topic. I install the both the game and the mod with no problems, I update the shortcut with the Void's IP adress, but can't connect. My game version is displayed as 1.0, the Void server is also 1.0, but it's grayed out and the 1.0 beside the server is in red, denoting it being incompatible with my client

This is where it gets strange.

I tried deactivating the mod completely and then connecting. My client version was now compatible and I could connect to the Void server, in spite of not having the mod activated. For a brief moment, I flew my dagger around Manhattan inside the Void server, but with no Void mod activated. Then my game crashed. When I reactivated the mod, the incompatible version went back to being... well, incompatible.

Any ideas?

This is the latest version of the Mod and also contains the No cd exe

That was the problem, yeah, I had the wrong version of Void installed. The "latest" one I downloaded from the site was 2115v9 or something.

I just hope win7 helped my game stop crashing. Testing now
