Freelancer - The Void

This Needs to be Read. Especialy by some of the newer players here - and the longer standing ones too, especialy Strails Response.  Failure to comply with the requests will result in the loss of this server.  C'mon People - get it together!

Very good post Zebulon. As peeps know me it is very rare that i bitch and moan about stuff on here i cant see the point my post's usually consist of a couple of lines. Ranting on about this person or that person as cheated or done something you don't like is pointless just don't PvP them or just ignore them its not like they live next door to you and you can go out and wag your finger at them. Just get on with the GAME. Some of you get so uptight when your little ship gets blown up like you have lost an arm or leg or the cost of repairing it as come out of your personal bank account or piggy bank.

i have been gone alot as of late because of my job. but to come on and see this. ?

zeb is 100000% correct in everthing he has stated, and if you cant see it for yourselves, strail is sick and tired of it. i have never in all my time here seen strail curse on the forums.

there are a few who have been trying to bring down this server for over 2 years now. they posion others with their bad attitude and desrespecful play. they go on other server web sites and talk trash about the void and then come back and act like nothing has happen or that we dont see it.

you all can not imagine all the TIME and the MONEY  strail has put into this server for all of us to be here for free.

think about this. how many of you would invite people over then let them sit there and complain and bitch about the way you decorate your home. or complain about the way you raise your children, you would ask them to leave. well guess what you are all guess here this is NOT A PUBLIC SERVER,  this is private, strail's home and you should have enough manners to behave yourself in anouthers home.

there are right ways and wrong ways to make suggestions and to report problems. if you are not old enough or wise enough to know how then just dont say anything and play.

i for one am very thankful for what strail has done, no i am not sucking up on the forums , as i have  serveral times told strail this in dirrect chat, he know how i feel about this server and all his work.

question is how do you realy feel about the server and the time he put into making it happen. you dont need to post your answer. let your answer come thru in your game play and the way you conduct yourself, lip service does nothing if you dont back it up with action. so dont post " i love this place" play like you love this place.

Because some people don't appreciate the fact that someone have done so much for the game and for you as a player and they start to sling dirt at them. Not a good thing.

Why not? Do you like it here? You claim to be a supporter of the VOID and that its the Best Server on Earth.  
So I dont follow you Xenon - what are you getting at exactly? Please explain. You told us you were never coming back to this server and yet here you are? If you cannot resist the pull of the VOID mod then surely you would wish to support its continued survival?  Or does running ESFDKH on other servers not warrant you giving the VOID your full attention?  Im serious - please explain.  This is the ONLY place I play Freelancer Online and I would rather it didnt disappear - thats my reason for the thread.  Whats your reason for your response?

It is a shame that one of the true gentlemen of the game has reached a point as low as this where he feels that all his own hard work has been for nothing and for that I accept my share of responsibility.

Since we moved to this server after our original server died and the others although with many people were spineless we have been made welcome by almost everyone on here, clans like BL, SYND, REAVERS, DACIA to name but a few and FL players like TIME, SHONEN, and MAV have all played their part in making this clan a welcome and respected one and making this server a place to want to play.

I have said in private that this will be my final resting place although I wanted that to be years away if I am honest, all I want to know is what can I do to help and what do you need me to do.

I will always be grateful to this server for giving the combined players of LSF, OPG, STO, PRF, UCSF and ARACHNIDS a welcome home and I will do all that I can to ensure it survives.

I admit that i had my fair share of crap posts on this forums and i do appologise to all who might have been offended by my words written in a rush and not at all thought thru. (sometimes i wonder why i wrote that whole pile of bs anyway?)

The Game is called Freelancer.
"This" (The Void)  however is the creation of one single man (Strail) and he's not charging you anything for the use of his work.
If it wasn't for him and the previous team of Void modders we wouldn't be here enjoying this server in the first place.
This is not ment to be as an attack towards Dynasty and Xenon but more as an advise for everyone to think about all the efforts put into this server to keep it running and lasting in the top 3 Freelancer servers worldwide.
Now i wasn't a saint on the Voidforums writing numerous inflamatory and useless posts but there comes a time when enough is just enough already.
Why digging a hole deeper for the Freelancer Server which i like most (actually  the only freelancer server i'm playing on) ...it just doesn't make any sence now,does it?
I do understand that many are frustrated with what's going on lately (cheat accusations,lack of new ships,equipment getting blown up lol  etc etc) but why make things worst and add gas to the flames by writing bs both in-game and on the forums? (it really doesn't make any bloody sence)
