Well the surgery was yesterday, since it got postponed last time because I was having a 41.4C fever. Not very comfortable I can tell you lol.

All went well, although they needed an extra doses of narcosis to get me under lol. Was pretty funny actually hehe. After the surgery they put a 6 inch tampon in each nostril to stop the bleeding, which gave me some trouble breathing and make for a bad night. Couldn't even swallow anything, not even water with aspirins, because it just hurt to friggin much. But this morning the doctor finally took out those tampons (Pretty amazing that those huge things actually fit inside your skull lmao) and I immediately noticed I could breath a whole lot better than I ever could even immediately after that. It's a great relief, since I have never been able to really breath through my nose or smell anything. I am now noticing all kinds of scents I have never smelled before. Has it up- and its downsides lol. For example I noticed that my girl has been right all the time and I should really use the freshener after I used the toilet lmao! It's pretty weird actually: this morning I smelled the scent of toothpaste for the first time, and things like the scent of our home. It really is a whole new world for me and I am so happy it finally got fixed. And after the swelling wears off, it will only get better.

As promised I took some pictures. Sadly, they are not quite as spectacular as I might have hoped. There is no bruising to be seen yet, that will come in a few days. Just my nose and lips are a bit swollen for now. The bandage is to prevent my nose from emptying its contents all over the place, although it couldn't really cope with the blood flow, judging by how my bed looked this morning.

The first one is from right after the surgery, and the second one is taken a bit later. Meanwhile, the bandages have been taken off and the tampons removed and they told me to sit on my rear for the next 2 weeks. So that's 2 weeks of full-time FL for me woohoo!!!
