Voted yes. I've kept my mouth shut until I've settled in on your server.

I play a good guy but I say pirates should tax more within common sense. It makes trading more dangerous and gives us good guys something to do.
Why not just blow up the traders and scoop the cargo in the meantime? You get better than 200k and the chases are worthwhile.

Actually I while I was trading today I was asked for tax of 100k. I could easily afford that in a Armoured transport but I wanted a chase. So I ran its all about fun. Yep up the tax and Pirates kill and loot some more make traders need escorts. Makes more fun out there.

I was collared by a nasty x in babylonia the other night in my thoth. My hold was empty so I thought I'd try and give him the slip, he caught me in the end so I said fair enough and paid him a mil. Like Hatchet said, the cat and mouse game is fun and a mil is nothing, I earned it back yesterday in 2 minutes and 20 seconds  \:D/

wel it has been 14 days and the vote time is over, we have 31 yes and 3 no. i think this showes that most agree that taxes are not working right now. however i dont know if this will be enuogh of a turn out to persuade the a-team to change their minds on taxes.

i wil pm this to all the a-team with a very mature and polite request that they concider a change. i dont have any ideal if it will be succesful. i will say this i am done with this topic now. i have spent the last 3 months trying to stire up support to change taxes. i must have misread so many post in the past from so many different players who came on the forums and  complained about taxes. many who did not even vote or post to show support. so to all of you  i say " i have tried", that is all i can do. but many times i said it was going to take us all. you all had your chance, now if it does not happen, their is no one to blame now but the players of the server, you can no longer say the a-team has killed pirate role play by killing taxes. you had the chance to stand up and be heard and you just sat there on your duffs and said nothing.

well you know what they say" you get what you put into it" and i have the feeling you are going to get just that. nothing because that is what as a server we have put into this, nothing!
