Freelancer - The Void

My comments were not to enrage, and YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT SERVER.

I have never had a problem with =DTA= fighting tactics, , after fighting against and with you for a short time I see that in combat few surpass your teams ability against any foe.

My problem is I see this going down the tubes, the Void losing feirce competitors because the other clans refuse to adapt to your combat.

The navy should not sit waiting for the the rogues, they should hunt them down find the bases and lay siege to the rogue and pirate forces.
But what I see is one maybe two at a time coming after you, the rest sit and wait, then call out for =DTA= to come and get them.

I want you to stay if it is not clear, I have had to find new ways around the gates to avoid combat with you, and that is no easy task since the shortest route from New Berlin to New York is through those gates.

What I do not like is the doubt that your showing, to me you guys should not doubt if this is the correct server. I questioned that when I failed as a member of your group, face I was a lousy member. And it was right of you to drop me.

Now please get back in the game.. So I can run for my life !!!!

I want just to say something...the funny thing is that if someone do the same thing to you (you DTA), you start moaning like all the players that moans because of your actions....

Ok one thing, sparta is a warzone more fights happen there or did then anyother place on teh server and pvps happen there over and over, then it became a hissy fit place, wat can you do .

Some DTA have ran away, sry not anti DTA or anything but some members have and with cd's not working properly i dont bother to much to give a chase. Id rather pvp in sparta over and over tbh instead of chasing one man through the gates for him to shoot humpbacks then cruise and fly off, and when his cd's or regens run out (yes iv seen some not all, regen) he flys off into nowhere and comes back reloaded and repeats the same routine so this server being a girls skool, why are you the pupils .

Navy shouldnt rly hunt [R]'s and [X]'s over and over lol, its in their interest to protect (try) populated area's, whilst [R]'s and [X]'s are ment to use gurrila tactics and harres their enemys.

As i said i dont have problems with any DTA even the ones who leg it just pointing out why some ppl cant be asked to spend 20mins chasing instead of 20mins hardcore fighting somewhere else. I simply dont care who you are, your funny on ur forums and ill leave it as that . ohh i ramble on dont I

Elessar I understand your point of view m8. It is normal that admin try to protect new players, try to leave them enjoy server in the first days.

And you do it, you put a warning in the console saying about pirates and asesins etc.., you put a rule about dont kill under level 20 ppl. And, new ppl can go to the 80% of systems and explore, and trade, or do missions without a very high risk.

since rogue RP was proposed by entropy in VOID, I only know 2 servers with a lot of action and danger, and both of them are full of players, that is a fact.

Every freelancer server has rogues, just we are the only rogue clan on the Void

you are both right, rogues have been on FL all the time,
but the definition of rogues as roleplay was developed by ent.

True, but R tag and Rogue roleplay "rules" ( I mean there is a description of this role in the server) are only in VOID.

Interesting. So much smack-talking going on here. Thing is, there's no backing for it.

DTA regenning? The only DTA I ever see regen is AMOK. If you jump him he regens then turns to fight. Not too cool in my book but acceptable according to the unwritten rules.

Moaning? Puh-leeeze. I have never heard DTA moaning about being killed or outnumbered. They fight, they die, they say GF most of the time, they come back. They do taunt in system chat, but I think that's because they get taunted. Trash-talk shouldn't be part of the game but it seems it is. They're no different than anyone else in that regard.

Fighting people who can't defend themselves? Always gangbanging? Funny how the pic posted by Venom has been conveniently ignored. Maybe he made it up in PSP or something.

And BTW, if there has been a previous poll like this one I'd like to see it.

What I see here is the same kind of taunting and accusations I see in system chat. Back it up. Where's the screenies?

Funny thing is, when Netsphere was the terror of the Void, it was like this. When Vagu was terrorizing traders and fighters alike in Tohoku, it was like this. Maybe it's just DTA's turn. Who's next?

If you would have asked me even a week ago I would have said leave…the fact that you have insisted by your actions, to use the void bottleneck that is Alex as your hunting grounds is a determent to the server. It has chased newbs off, I have seen this first hand myself time and time again. They come here, start to trade and explore, reach level 20, get pwned in a poorly armed freighter right outside the NY gate in Alex, then leave.

True, it is a “shooting game” but that’s not all it is. If it was it would be like Doom was, no money, no trading, weps would just be floating around respawning, for people to just pick up and shoot. Freelancer Multi-player is much more then that.

Why?
Well I don’t know if I should tell about this (Don’t wanna ruin Venoms rep …lol ) but something strange happened a few days ago. There I was in my AT, making money to equip a new Char, I had saw that the DTA had taken a break and decided to take advantage of this window of opportunity.
Made enough money and a little extra when Venom showed up, I thought to myself that I would try my luck. But sure enough there he was right outside the Alex gates, and my big fat AT went BOOM!! Being the stubborn old dawg I am I decided to keep going and sure enough he was there making short work of my poor AT.
To my surprise he greened me after saying that he would let me pass this time ….. lmao. And he was good to his word and let me pass not once but twice before warning me that he was feeling evil again….to not pick up any “loot” this time. I said something like “OK, lets make this more interesting” switched to my Fighter I keep outside the Alex gates and we went at it, of course I lost but I did have fun.

This showed me that he is actually not out to ruin the game for others as I have seen some do in the many places I have traveled.

So I vote stay.

I would suggest though that Venom takes his band of "Merry Men" on the road more often. Don’t hang around Alex so much. Or this WILL happen again if you stay here.

To Venom, I’m surprised that you didn’t see this banning episode coming bro, the baiting that you claim happened awhile back should have been your first clue that this was about to come to a head.
Your bound to make an Admin angry by pwning newbs that just passed level 20. Let alone the Clan leaders tryin to get recruits set up and traders out making money…..by Kicking it next to the Alex gates….. Chase people down, harass the PVP rock huggers in Sparta. Don’t hang around the Alex gates so much. Give more people a chance like you did me that day.

ok this is slightly off topic (well actually its been brought up a few times) but im gunna say it anyways

if admins dont like us killing ppl that were allowed to by the rules...rank 20 and over....raise it to say 30 that way the "new" players will be able 2 get a good ship and setup and they will be able to explore without dying.....just my two cents there and i know whats coming....why dont the DTA just make that rule for themselves.....were rogues we kill anyone we can so the only way for us 2 stop killing "new" players is to make the rules say higher.

i wanna say something else about this but wont becuase i may get in trouble
