you are not rp'n , did you just change your name to look cool or to follow the crowd !?!?

seriously people , wheres the rp , why rp at all , why have clans , why have tags ?

why have someone mod all these systems and bases with different factions/rp if there not used.....just tell him to make everything nuetral !

its gotten really bad out there recently !!

you claim to be evil/bad guys and yet you dock at the good guys bases........and vise versa.........good guys are docking at evil bases !!

so i ask again !

why rp or have tags that claim to be certain rp if your not upholding that tag or clans rp?

now you may ask why dont I have tags or do I wanna join your clan , both of wich ive been asked a million times -- well honestly this is the reason , theres no rp in VOID...i can think of 1 clan that does rp correctly and most of you diss that clan and have no respect for them !  

And really me putting a R on is not going to change the rp in the server , it has to be a joint effort ! A JOINT EFFORT FROM ALL !!!

So freelancers , clan leaders and clan members ....put your ships on auto-pilot and think about your clan , your tags and your rp , do X , R , Evil , Good , Navy , Order really have the same bases and rp ???

Lets put the rp back in VOID !!!

Urami , like you said in ruggs post , its convienent rp ! i agree 100% on that.

i made a hunter character today and what i see , 5-6 players all docking from sparta base where they shouldnt even be due to there so called rp......

it obvious that admins are NOT going to do something (i think they should), thats why Im trying to reach the players ! its up to us to make the change !!

hopeless cause i guess....rp is dead , tags/clans mean nothing anymore !

This Topic has been made alot of times in the past few weeks and i do agree the RP has Left The server but the reason is that most of the Community is not supporting the RP side of the Game for eg soem players are justplaying the Game ina Solo Role they Fly about exploring, Red Dotting, and Trading if you Want RP back here you all have to play your parts and get  big War going speaking of War i avnt seen any oopen Conflicts between any Clans in a long time last big maor Fight i seen was the 666 and the 4S Squad but i havnt really seen much conflict between them in a while.

also an idea for all the Clans out there
plan a Day were all/most of the Clan members are on that way theres more chance of a Conlflict arising between clans and therefore building on the RP

also for all you guys
Pirates Tax players and Fight Navy also no1 ever said pirates cant Tax pirates if your a freelance pirate you dont have any1 to answer to so you pick your own rules ( as long as they dont breach the server rules)
Rogues Dont like any1 and they consider mostly every as KOS, these guys should also be considered KOS by Every1
Navy help Traders and Freelancers if they ask for it and basically try and Keep Space a save place to be

Where I come from "Amen" is a response given when you are 100% in agreement with what is being said and you want everyone to know that.

As for the RP vs docking I'm not sure what you mean by that.  But I'll try and give my opinion and justification as to how I feel about docking my [R] inside a Navy base...

Most all [R]s (single char, no names attached, [R] .[R]. ~{R}~ etc) are docked inside Sparta City, which is a navy base.  Now most people may say "Hey why is a R docked in a navy base?  That's not RP"  But in our opinion, it is RP perfectly.  You can imagine us [R]s as being terrorist suicide bombers.  We don't care about you, we only care about us and getting you killed.  We'll take any means to kill anyone when we see fit.  We serve a greater cause and mission, and will not necessarily kill 'everyone' on radar all the time, sometimes we just pass by........  Now of course the USA or UK or similar countries does NOT support terrorism or suicide bombings, but a person would be stupid to believe there are not terrorist living in these countries everyday, working in these countries, living on the economy.  This is how I see the [R] name.  Living in the shadows, hiding, running, avoiding the law.  When we see fit to kill, we kill and then we retreat back to our hiding places.

But other than that like I said before, the Void is an RP convenient server........players will only RP when it's convenient for them.

RP ?, action ?, everybody is in Sparta or Nomad1 chating and pvping. Rogues, pirates, navy, all together chatting and pvping most of the time.

Only some Rogues and ppl make their work, and then game is fun, but they are a few.

Well Sythe u are right to a certain extent only.
I can see ur anguish.
When i joined Void a year ago there were great pirate clans and evil clans who all worked together against the united navies.At that there were no Rogues like we see today all around.

But things changed and  then fortunately DTA came about and there were  fights.

Yes Void maybe has become RP convinient BUT Void was always RP convinient.
Sparta was and will be a pvp hub.Its where guys will simply have fun and they forget about RP.

It does seem things have become a bit "loose" with no big fights but then nowadays nobody wants big fights.
Wars are expensive and this is what is happening now-
Most clans are scrambling to get 2  billion to have clan bases in the next mod.U see pirates/evil and a few navies trading continuosly to get the money.So RP has become lax in a way.

But i hope in the new mod where there might be things like clan bases could play an inspirational role in bringing about a change.
OR we might need DTA again.

To do roleplaying someone should come with a good story first, then others go adding paragraphs to this story, until theres reason to create a war between factions. A score is settled and the admins rewards those who get the big score after the war is over, usually after one week. Some engagements can be scheduled, but people should understand that not everybody can come to the events.
Roleplaying is a complement to PvP and adds more color to it. However, most of the so-called RP servers suck. In those servers theres a lot of favoritism from the admins with certain factions, and all the rest of players (the majority) have to submit to several suffocating rules that are a hindrance to any serious roleplaying, and ultimately take all the fun from the game. I dont known of a single RP server where theres no favoritism and rule manipulation from the admins and their uber factions.
Reason why I have come to play in the Void was because in the Void theres not all those suffocating rules: you can engage someone, die and re-engage again. You can buy the ship you want, the weapon you want and fly to where you want. The only problem is about swearing in system chat, but I guess I can live with it (although I have to point out this is a hindrance to pirate roleplaying).
People docking at hostile bases sucks, but if you do some missions for the npc faction to which your pc faction is supposed to be alligned with, hostile bases will be undockable. The missions are a good characteristic in the Void: they pay a lot of money, and if you get assassination missions you can make money as fast as you can make when trading, or at least close to it. The reason why I dont join any of the factions around is because I dont have enough time to participate in events, and because I suck with the ship speeds present in the Void mod, at least while in PvP engagements.

RP dont make me laugh i undock from sparta most evenings to go out on my travels to see pirates navy evil clans all playin ringa ringa roses round the rock there are a few that have good RP but not enough when i undock i expect to be shot at not asked for pvp so come start blastin each other thats what then guns are for

Digger m8t, I couldnt agree more,  I'm fed up with all the guys sittin about doin nothin.

See that big X next to your name, that means ur a pirate, which means that now and again your supposed to tax other players, or shoot npcs and loot them.(ther are a few clans that just like to think they're pirates)
Also if your in a navy clan, then in my opinion you should be grouped up together and patrolling the home systems and other well known hotspots for pirates/rogues. Helping out traders and new players.
I know everybody doesnt want to rp all the time, so how about gettin a char with no tags/no clan tags.

At the end of the day, the players who have some sort of RP tags but dont bother their backside to actually act it out need to take action and change this.
FFS can you imagine how cool it would be to log on and see Syndicate fightin off 4S at Theta, and ESF fightin off 666 at the rock or Navy patrolling around the home systems helping out traders because REAVERS are reported in the system.

Right now I'm in the most evil clan here and I can still fly past about 8 navy guys at the rock and they cant be arsed to chase me or even fire at me.

RP has not left - it just went to sleep.  Like Urami says - [R] docks where they please.  We dock where we please - some of us have "good" reps cos it helps when we hunt down our prey - some have "bad" reps cos it suits their style. The idea being that we can get to you anywhere anywhen and anyhow... I will poke a stick at anyone sitting around playing ringa ringa rosies in Sparta.... what might have been missed recently was an excellent example of Syndicate 4s and other supposed "enemies" pounding on the -=REAVERS=- together in Sparta! WOW.....now what kinda RP is that?  :D  - Navy and Criminals ganging up on the Blood Thirsty Villans - I LOVE IT!  -

I've got some great ideas for things to do that I don't plan on wasting much time before implementing.

Some of them will be small and involve a very small number of people.

One of them, however, could probably bring half the freqin' void together in a world of chaos and combat if it goes the way I could see it going...

I've done more amazing things in the past... Heck, I brought my Xbox360 back to life after getting the "Three Red Rings of Death" not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, but FIVE FREQIN' times.

I don't think bringin' some RP action to the Void for those who want it will be any trouble at all for these magic hands and this trap-like mind.
