Freelancer - The Void

Hi, everyone. I am new around, playin' The Void cca 3 month and only 2 weeks since I joined the new*order clan. IMO these community is great and the mod is awesome, but I think there is a low number of custom ships. These fact motivated me to install the Cinema 4D and create some ships, just for fun and to try something else then a Photoshop. These is my 1st attemp to make something in 3D. Heres the result:


Saiharo F-111 "Macune" heavy fighter



Ferrera FE-23G "Cutlass" light fighter


I know the 1st one is a bit similar to the Viper, but only accidentaly...

Very nice man! I like your stuff! I love how the "Macune" is asymmetrical . You say you only just installed Cinema 4D? Have you used it before? Because if you haven't this is a legendary first effort man. Keep it up!

Indeed, for a first attempt that's bloomin' good. I do like the "Cutlass" a lot.

Very thanx. I installed Cinema in Sunday. I am still learning how to used it, but i can use basic functions I wanna make more ships to transform some of my old sketches into 3D models. Unfortunately i dunno nothing about texturing  :(...

I love the Ferrara ..... could you make a Ferrara MkII Heavy Fighter?  That would be awsome! With an extended backpiece and an extra tail foil or hard point? ...hehehe excellent work mate!

I love the Cutlass fighter,though i would like some more armor to it and some greater firepower.Not bad for ur first try,great going and i hope to see better ships next time around.

If u want to know more about designing ships etc u can PM Hash and Osiris,both of them make good ships.They can help u out.Maybe u guys can form a team.

Niiice. I've tried my hand at 3D modeling too, but my first tries were nowhere near as good as yours are. Looks like you've got a boatload of talent :D Whatever you do, don't stop making models!

If you're not really good at texturing, you might wanna ask somebody else to do it for you instead. It is quite different than making a model, after all. And awesome textures can add a lot to an awesome model. If you know some people who like 2D drawing, you might want to try asking them first.
