Freelancer Kittani arrives at Planet Manhattan

Hey folks. I have been playing single player Freelancer for a long time. My Single player account has over 2 million credits, more named weapons than I can shake a starflier at, and just about every zone visited. I'm, of course, looking for more. I've also beaten the game with difficulty 1.5, 2.0 is insane... sorry. My playstile usually revolves around a combination of doing trade for money, missions for rep, and avoiding making the local authorities too upset with me. I've read through most of the information on the new player's guide... man banking is something I will NOT be using. 5% of BALANCE for any transaction? If real banks did that they wouldn't have any customers. I could see 5% of TRANSACTION amount... that menas if you had say a million in the bank and wanted to pay a player 50k for his services... you'd then have to pay the bank 50k for the transfer... banking aside I'm bout to log in and get going... see you round.

Ok... just figured something out... the bank charge comes off your character's money... and is 5% of the total deposited or transferred... IE I just dropped 40 mill in the bank... it took 42 mill off my character and put 40 mill in the bank. That makes more sense.

I'm leaving for a while... I've mentioned this before but apparently it is condoned behavior for [R] and [X] players to attack without regard for sportsmanship or anything. I was recently attacked after jumping into Alexandria, by a Rogue named KittenPaw, I was already engaged in a fight with several Outcast fighters who were doing a number on me in an ill-equipped fighter. They gunned me down then proceeded to jump to the place where I respawned to, I assume, have at me again. I lost some equipment I found while exploring I wanted to save as well. I understand this is a KOS server where it is expected to attack others whenever you see them. It's a shame that the mod itself is so beatifully detailed and completely going to waste on people who only want to hunt and kill other players while they are trying to enjoy the work the devs did by exploring. Cheap shots... stalking... and other forms of "legitimate" gameplay were not what I was looking for. I play games for fun, and TO ME.. anyways... this is not so. I have seen this in other games. It's the mark of a server overrun with elitist players whose only joy comes from forcing people off the server so they can claim thier "territory". Well KittenPaw... you win, I leave, add that notch to your belt. You and the rest of the petty players aren;t worth anymore of my time.
To That_Guy, Sins, Zeus, and the others that played fair and made good times... thanks. I'll drop in from time to time when noone else is on to explore a bit. Maybey stop in to say hi. But being an active player is only going to irritate me and get me into trouble. Take care, and.. if you haven't been to some of the tau systems... they really are quite nice to fly around in.
Peace.

@Kittani why don't just avoid that guy who is bothering you,may be do trade in some other system or make some friends and call them to help you if they are free at that moment and in case no friend/back-up available it's best to dock in a base or planet for a couple of minutes the R will eventually go away.another way to kick the ass of R is to make a Fighter chr and buy a top ship with powerful shield, armor, weapons and dock it in a base or planet near your trade route so that you can fight the R with a Fighter chr :-?
