An Open Apology

To all it may concern:
Over the past couple of weeks I have had a few connection issues. This has detracted from me being able to take an active part in any game play here. Other than watch over the server when I can, things have been somewhat tedious. In Real Life there have been some issues also. A good friend of mine reminded me of why we play here and I may very well have temporarily lost sight of that fact.
Being an ADMIN / VOID is not easy. Any of you who have been in that kind of position in other places know how tricky it can get. Some servers are "hands off" others very much "hands on". I think we try to come somewhere in between.
I dont always get it right. I read the temperature of this whole "war" thing and got it completely wrong. My approach was heavy handed and possibly bourne out of a certain disillusion with the way some things have headed and I was attempting to make sure the rot didnt spread - sadly it back fired.
So - to clarify. Ignore my posts and suggestions regarding the whole Warzone - its up to you to "self regulate" and decide what is fair and what is not within the very flexible rules here on the VOID.
You cant "regulate" fun - if you do it stops being fun. To quote: "Its a cartoon spaceship..."
I will retract any previous instructions regarding the whole Demosthenese Fiasco. Fight Shoot Die Respawn.
