server down?

Sorry im back after long time and after activating void mod i see nothing in online list, is the server down? i saw there are problems with paying server and need sponsors. I have 2115 v6 from the download section

Global server is down for more than year so that's why you cannot see any server online. You have to use direct connect to the Void server or install the small soft called Freelancer GLS workaround which is working exactly like Global server.

i have this workaround mod but u know that void dont let other mods to be activated?
But when im activating Hambur0g mod for example it show me the server in list, why when im activating void i see nothing?

Ill try  to edit the icon C:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -s85.214.33.109:2302

Well GLS workaround is not a mod, it's small software with simple installation. From my experience I have to install it again after every change of mod via Freelancer Mod Manager so that's the one minus. Otherwise it's working well. But as I said, if you don't want to use this program you can always use direct connect. IP address of the server is located on the main page.

workaround is a mod, i have it in mod manager list... and i heard isnt good to use it with other mods, can be errors
But is normally to not see the server when activating void mod? or i have a bug?

Work around :

Not a MOD , Not a MOD ok well , it's a Facility that let you see the hosted servers list for all freelancer servers , and it's released so players can see the servers list since the Global Server List is DOWN for about a year.

This is NOT a bug , you can simply connect to void using this simple steps:

1- right click on the Freelancer icon on the desktop
2- click on " properties "
3- click on " Find Target "

Then a Folder will be opened of the Freelancer game setup.

4- Find a File named " FLDirectIP"
5- Double click on that file , and it will open a Window.
6- Add on IP Address ----> 85.14.217.82
7- Add on the Port ------> 2302
8- Click on " ADD SERVER "
9- Click on " Launch Freelancer "

Freelancer will open.

10- Choose " Multi-Player "
11- Choose " LAN " , dont choose internet

the list will open and only VOID server will show on the list.

12- double click on VOID Server , and WELCOME online.

PS: about the Server Down issue and payment .. this server will last forever , why? because it have a great collection of people who act like players , sponsors , helpers all the time , this is the real funding of the void , and since void got those great players , then you need not to worry , void got your back

Thanks Xenon, but that method has not worked for me.  The Global Server has been up several times during the last year, and was again about two weeks ago.  It comes and goes.  
I don't know why the method you've suggested will not work for me.  Perhaps it has something to do with the 'no-cd crack'?

hello, back to this old post because im refresing my chars and again problems. First i checked in download section if is a new version but isnt. But i saw late in forum is a new one.

But i dont see void on list even using Globalserverworkaround.. or editing the schotcut with ip adress. Or the server is down exactly when im coming after 5 weeks, that is funny:)
