put well in your mind that you
will face bad behaviour as all pirates do.
So if you gonna back to Xef be sure first you can handle this
and not fill up your mind(and our mind)
with problems-etc.

hmm well i voted yes although i can understand all of u'r frustration..... hopefully the new mod will help ya out and keep us navy boys on our toes

the void needs piracy, its part of the reason i love it here. XEF were the first pirates i met on void and the first to tax me. Them not being here will feel strange and wrong so i vote yes to keeping XEF alive and taxing....

i kno u wont listen but:

• Have both tags on chars
  for example 1 [X]EF and 1 [TAG]
• Merge them:
  
  [X]EF-Name-[X] and [X]EF-ame-[TAG]

I voted yes, as in reform X-Ef again, but maybe you could change it´s stance a bit.

My opinion is, get X-Ef back up (using Tag for contracts), but quite frankly don´t bother with piracy.

How many times have we seen this? X-Ef reforms, it goes strong for a whille, then you start realizing that almost anyone pays taxes, and go to a different thing.

So, my opnion, make X-Ef an evil clan, but put taxing aside. Of course you could still accept money from a player to leave him alone, but don´t rely on it.

And remember one thing is what the old players and most of the forum users say. Another is what the casual players, that don´t even visit the forum think. You´ll always have complains, there´s no way around that.

I made my feelings about this issue clear earlier, and now I think I was wrong. Not completely, but a fair bit of it was out of line looking back. (Check them pms Ent)

I would say now that if you think you can make it work, if you think you can avoid the old problems, then try it.

I would only have one last warning: Keep your cool m8s. Ive had first hand experience of the abuse and mobbing XEF can recieve, after flying with you guys, and I now know how hard it is to keep it all in. Keep cool, keep collected, and flames can be avoided. Dont let piracy die!

Of course I voted yes on this, XEF had my respect from my first encounter to right now. XEF were pirates to be feared and in my opinion still are, the mere mention of XEF should make you check your scanners and watch them well......Hope to see this happen, regardless of the stance you will take with us or against us..... good luck m8's.

Now why the heck would I vote "no" on this? XEF has had the most honorable pirates I've ever met on Void, espeacially Raistilin. Most pirates today should look up to him as a role-model for being a pirate (except for all the beers he drinks if you're underage, of course. )... and hopefully this would make a turn of events come for Void, good events.

i will not chime in on the hole should you do this or that. however i dont see pirates dieing out on server. more new people join everyday and many of them are pirates. i would suggest you try to get this newbees in line with the pirate clans and teach them proper piracy to many of them think it mean just shooting everything and then when you have blown up someone 2or 3 times then say pay a tax. that is not going to work we all know this.

XEF is a great clan, no one can deny it! However....

It is your choice to bring it back, the clan has constantly be risen and collapsed as the torch of XEF is passed. You have all said at some point you feel that XEF recieves a lot of cr*p for what you do, or that alot of people don't understand the whole taxing issue.

If you come back the problems will be there. You can still fight for XEF and a bring a good clan back, but you will still face the reasons that made you disband in the first place.

I think XEF is great but if you are going to do this, you will need a different method to go about your clan bussiness. The previous attempts have failed and you always come out stressed from the experience. Pirates are a key role to void but it may need to be re-thinked!
