Checking In

Heyyy everyone, i've been away for ohhh idk... a year now lol and i figured i'd stop by and see how my old friends were doing. Annnd sort of tell you all the updates with me as well :)

My Updates:

Graduated
Goin to college pursuing culinary arts
State competitions for culinary arts (my best finish is second... grr)
working 2 jobs

But the biggest thing so far
Working as a chef for Americrown Midwest.... A.k.a NASCAR :) i got the gig through my vocational school and lemme tell you, the hours are HARSH 4AM till whenever we get things all done for the day. But its fun, and its also the reason that inhibits my ability to come back....

But other than that. its been the samo samo for me. kickin back whenever i get 5 minutes and just having fun :)

i would LOVE you hear from all of my ol pals on here, check in see how everyones doin and stuff

Congratulations and good to hear from you. NASCAR...oooooh - get any decent freebies? Do you have a recipe for cooking Nomads? Whats your tip for a succesful Chilli con Carne? Can you recommend a decent US micro brewery ale to wash down the sandwich with?

Go for it mate! I look forward to you having your own TV slot  - "Cooking with Gas"  :D

UPDATE

Soooooooo the news is in :)

As of January 3rd 2008 I'll oficially be a resident of Charlotte North Carolina :)
I also have a job workin at the charlotte motor speedway for nascar AS WELL as workin in bobcat stadium for the charlotte bobcats :) (and if you didnt know, thats a pro USA baskettball team not the greatest but hey, i'll take it lol)

and i havent really been contacted by any of my old friends :( this saddens me....

Soooo if your a resident of NC or the surrounding states and need a culinary merc. feel free to set up a date :)

I live in Eastern North Carolina!  Born and raised in Raleigh NC so we are very near each other!  :D

:D Line up them sandwiches chap and get the beers into the cooler....Missed you by several hundred miles but had a short spell for a week in Kansas City on family business.  Had a blast.  I think I will move there soon!!!! Need a hand in the kitchen?

Got Baseball World Series explained to me  - gotta love those Red Sox and Manny Ramirez.  Had College Football explained to me by a very talented first grader who knew all the calls before the line judge made them!  - All in all a very educating trip - NOW I know what a line of scrimage is......... :D

And keep in mind ppl, this is all HANDMADE, i refuse to cheat and use storebough/preassembles creations. You eat my cooking, you eat authentic :)
