A Void Christmas

Time in the Void is iffy at best. I mean, with all the travel through Jumpgates and wormholes at what must be faster-than-light speeds who knows how much time is gained or lost. Besides,with  the Sirius Calendar as dated from the Arrival Day, which of course we all celebrate every year as the day humans first arrived in the Sector from Earth, the days are a bit jumbled anyway.

SO.... who's to say just exactly when Christmas falls anyway. With that in mind, I would wish you all a Merry Christmas, not wanting to miss the date by some misfortune of the Space-Time continuum.

And with that, offer these words. Some may remember them from last year. Still, what is Christmas for but to begin or uphold our own traditions:



A Voidian Christmas.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Void
Not a pirate was stirring, no freelancers employed.
The Navy still stood guard at Alex with care
All making sure that no Nomads were there.

The Admin's were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of mods danced around in their heads.
With me in my Glad, Annie in her console,
We'd just settled in for a routine patrol.

When over in Sparta there rose such a clatter,
I headed that way to see what was the matter.
Away to the jump gate I flew like a torp,
My cruise engine burning at maximum warp.

The shield 'round the City  with it's violet glow
Gave the luster of lasers to the rocks below.
When, what to my widening eyes should appear
But a menacing ship, eight escorts to his rear,

With a mean-looking driver, he flew it so quick
I couldn't believe it, It must be a trick!
And each in their Eagles, his escorts they came
While over the Comm line he called them by name:

"Yo, Crusher, Anubis, Conq,  Hammerhead an'
Punnisher, Screamer, Fear, Armageddon!
Take your positions and stay in formation
Cover your wingman, Boys, I'm goin' in!"

As ship debris after a PvP flies,
When you hit that perfect shot right 'tween the eyes,
So all 'round the system the escorts, they flew
Their ships bristling with cannons and missiles too.

Then, in a twinkling, he crashed through the dock
As I watched from where I hid under Saint Rock.
I followed him through, landed, and looked around
When into the hangar he came with a bound.

He was dressed in the finest of leather space suits
Trimmed all in sliver, and shiny black boots.
A bundle of weapons was slung on his back,
He looked like a smuggler just opening his pack.

His eyes were mysterious and I could not
Read his expression cuz they were bloodshot.
A gold tooth glittered as he sported a grin
And about a week's stubble covered his chin.

He lit up a pipe with a torch that was frightful,
Whate'er he was smokin', it sure smelled delightful!
His chiseled face was both pleasant and rough,
His lean body said he knew how to be tough.

He stood tall, almost cocky, a confident man
And I knew right away he was head of his clan.
He looked at me hard as he turned his head
Then he winked, and I knew I had nothing to dread.

I couldn't hear what he said as he move his lips,
But suddenly, all around were sparkling new ships!
Then he carefully mounted new weps on each one,
Just right for each player to have the most fun.

Then he sprang in his ship, gave his escorts a whistle,
And away they all flew like a hot CD missile.
And I heard him exclaim as he cruised out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Fight!"

Marry Christmas everyone ! and have a marry happy holidays ! to all admins, server guards who make this game and the forums a good place for everyone , to all navy clan and its members for keeping us safe all these years !, to all pirates and rouges without which this server would be just as usual and boring like the rest and for them who makes this game more interesting  :)  , to our allies and friendly clans ESF, robot clan, Orien Tsf etc for helping us out in many ocations , and all freelancers and finally to  my clan >]SEF[< and its members Zero, Outer, Kosztya, Honour guard, Darkblade, Pantimonium and Prodigy [not in any order] for making my stay here in the clan the most interesting and best feeling ever !

And finally to my friends from outside the clan and ally group , Madderz, Time , Blade  projectry, Hypercannon[cant play anymore], and also to Zebulon and Cobra for benig a evil guy but still being a friend . Thank you all and have a marry Christmas !
