*** Clan History Basic Information ***
Clan was formed app. 150 yrs ago based upon a Liberty Navy elite strike squad with the code name: RAPTORS.
*** History on how the RAPTORS became a Clan ***
The strike squad had a simple role within Libety Navy, issue as many and as much devastating blows on pirate forces as possible. Actually they were one of the best within the Liberty Navy. Their latest mission brought them to Ithaca Research base where they had a short briefing about the target. It was not a big surprise: another pirate base. According to the intel reports the base was located somewhere in Magellan system. As the Navy had no other free resources for the strike, they had to go in without backup and deliver a warm welcome message from Liberty Navy. The mission turned out to be a death trap set up by the Outcasts to root out the RAPTORS as they had become too much of a pain to their business partners, the Liberty Rouges. The loss of the RAPTORS squad was great: according to Liberty Navy records all the 4 RAPTORS squad pilots and all the 20 ground attack squad team members were lost during the battle. The truth, which is still denied by the Liberty Navy is in fact 3 of the pilots survived in their escape pods and were tractored in by Zoners. As the 3 pilots had no chance of going back to Liberty and serve as a Navy pilot they vowed to protect the values which they hold dear and rally people to their cause to continue the fight and root out the pirate scum of Sirius.
Since then the RAPTORS Clan had developed and many young and talented pilots of Sirius joined their ranks. Their current field of operation is Rheinland and the Borderworlds.
