Another Server Update

To just try and get the server online with some stability, most of the player ingame functions are not available, this is a temporary thing whilst I work on sorting out some of the problems.

The server will be up in a few minutes

To alay fears regarding the Banking I wish to make a statement

We at the Bank Of Void, categorically deny that the credit crunch has been caused by The Void withdrawing all banked funds from the global moneymarkets. We have been in talks with the Fed and have agreed to make these funds available soon. In return they have agreed a rate cut, that should be anounced today.

Erm, I don't exactly know what you're on about there, but an letter from the bank written in that kind off official language, often means trouble for me...lol  :(

It means our money isnt lost and that the deposit charge will be reduced, once the bank is restored. The Bank will be restored shortly.

I am sure something like this was said before all the bankers jumped from windows before the US Great Depression back in the 1930's.

To be correct bankers jumped from windows on "Black Tuesday" on Oct 29 1929, the Great Drepression began as more banks failed during the 1930.  Just a little trivia for you.......................
