We are an old pirate clan but rather new on Void...

Our clan has its reputation from other servers and that would be the following:
We wont tax/attack defendless ones (means we wont tax traders)
We prefer 1 on 1 fight so if it is not necessary we wont engage and outnumber our opponent...
We don't reload...
We don't attack for no reason...

We have a long history as clan and till now we have changed few servers. Main reason for changing servers was that they were closed or didn`t have players on it (last one).
We came here to settle and have a new home in dying FL world. This server will probably stand last so we all agreed to come here and give a try of Void.


We will be playing sometimes Malta <-> Manhattan connection by trading cardmine with escort... (That is still in discussion)

AoF is not a clan, but an Alliance of Freelancers. We are something like "the rest". All of our members are freelancers but united. People could say we're a clan but we're not. Everybody is free to do what they wanna do. We don't force anybody to fight, or to trade to certain places, or to pay any kind of monthly amount, or whatever. If you're a freelancer..., we too.

We try to be neutral to everybody and we are here to make money, so whatever it's money about you can contact us.

We have three diff. wings:

-[A] wing is the fighter wing. It will help traders from pirates, fugitives, rogues, etc. Also, [A] members will fight by themselves against freelancers (not clans) acting like rogues or pirates.
-[T] wing is the trader section. Trading everything with everyone. Legal or unlegal.
-[X] wing is the pirate branch They can support our traders while smuggling and they're free to tax all freelancers (not other clans).

It could happened in the beggining that our [A ]wing attacked you (you were pirates). Now you've becomed an official clan and, if you keep us in the neutral side, [A] members won't attack you. Our base is in Alpha, so we will see us frecuently.

OK due to some clans complaining that we are not playing true Pirate role on void we decided to give each member right to decide whether he will tax or not...
I can say that i will not tax trader, but from now on i cant guarantee for others...

Don't forget {Fither}Wolf, who played here quite a lot up until recently... It would be great to see {Fither} back mate! You guys were top fighters (according to Wolf, who was a top fighter himself).

By the way, thread necromancy is becoming a recurring theme?

Some of us still talk on our forum so we might organize and drop from time to time.
I`m rusty and most of us are. Didn`t have a fight for almost 8 month but I hope we can get in shape really fast.
Pilot is playing here and he is one of the oldest Fither (in any way ). I think he is in clan more than 5 years.
We will come back one day

Anyway i thought about posting just to show Fither members are alive just it was long time since most of us played FL...
I m missing the old times we were flying around and having fun so...
Due to my nostalgia i might launch old rusty application named Freelancer on my PC which wasnt touched for about 6 months but was never removed either

So find some time i hope i will meet you guys in space...
