Talking about changing INI files, hello  looks like a cheater, sounds like a cheater. Even if you changed them back,

Stefan: Why do you worry about defending yourself if it is not true? The fact that you do, makes the suspicions rise against you. If you don't understand why people call you a cheater, after your post about ini decoders and what not, I can't help you. You called this upon yourself. Posting this thread made things only worse for you and surtainly doesn't make you look reliable.

Last, I second Eagleone's reply. Please be gone. This is indeed sick and leading nowhere at all.

Stefan, why u dont take a break for a few weeks, come back then and show us that u learned something out of this whole crap...that would be rather a good idea instead of Cry us a river with the result that ppl look down at you even more...i think when u come back in a month or two and show the ppl that u're nice and that u can behave well, no1 will ever say ANY bad word to you at all....

I was the one.I sent nero the well known Freelancer SDK.

Its a tool for everyone who wishes to edit the freelancer game.It was not designed to make cheats.

Nero asked for it so i sent him a link.In this package all freelancer ini files were decoded.

Personally I don't see any problems with playing around with an ini decoder, as long as the modder makes sure he doesn't harm other peoples creations in any way or breaks any rules what so ever. An ini decoder aint exactly top secret stuff, and anyone has the privilege to do its own efforts modding or trying to. And like Outerstar pointed out, it is not designed to make cheats. So I think Outerstar has no blame in this. He just helped out a fellow community member who wanted - as far as Outer knew - to do some modding of his own.

It is however a sensitive subject, for modding ini files is the basis for cheating. It quickly raises suspicions about modding/cheating in the case of a public request for a decoder, like done by Stefan. That's where the error was committed here. It should have been handled through pm from the get-go, and not been requested in the public forum. All of the resulting accusations and back chatter is nothing more than a logical result of a poorly thought-over action in my opinion. And again, posting a thread like this doesn't help him to say the least.

nero i don't know why you keep dragging this up.
i think you cheat, i wont go on about it because there is nothing to say. no way of proving you cheat. i base my accusation on my 3.5 years of multiplayer freelancer experience.

i could type about this all day, but i won't waste my time, because i know that nothing will come of this post or this entire thread
