I hope someone can help me out with this. I don't have a clue what's going on, and it is really getting in my nerves.
Every time I shut down the computer and I reboot it the following morning, I get the error message like shown below. Either when I click 'send' or 'don't send', a new message appears. I didn't manage to SS it, but is says something like 'DCOM error bla bla, and that it will auto-reboot the computer in 1 minute. Time start counting down and it reboots.
This process repeats itself a number of times, 4 or 5 mostly. Then suddenly all is ok, and it starts over when I reboot it the following morning.
It has never done this before, it's just a thing that tends to be appearing for the last 2 weeks or so. A while ago I had the 'Blue Screen Of Death', like some like to call it. Maybe that has something to do with it.
I don't know if anybody can tell me where the problem lies or what to do about it. Ofcourse any help is appreciated.

Yeah it's in Dutch, but it says that there was an error in Generic Host Process for Win32 Services. Like I said, when I click 'send' or 'don't send' the other message appears saying it will reboot in one minute.
I believe it is a computer virus I had too at some point. Only it manifested itself differently in my case. I had the same problem, a display case would pop-up with a message that said the computer will shut down in 1 min. Or restart smth like that. Anyhow, I can`t remember exactly what I did to get rid of the virus, but A. try a virus scan. Use NOD32 it`s really good. And B. if I remember correctly there is a Run command that can be used to overwrite the Shut-down message, only I can`t remember the command. Try reading the help files or search the net.
That`s the best I can do mate. Sorry, hope you sort it out.
What OS are you running? To stop the shut down process when you get the message open the "run" prompt by hitting the windows key and "R" then in the run box type shutdown -a and hit enter. Let me know the OS and I will give you some things to try but the are OS dependent.
Just to be clear - I'm a puter n00b - Os stands for 'operating system' right? And that refers back to for example Windows XP? In that case I am running Windows XP SP2.
Right, seems like the death of my computer has been put on hold for the time being. Vector helped me out trough msn, and showed me a patch for this particular problem. It seems that a patch was made specifically for the DCOM thingy, because it has caused problems with a lot of people, opening the doors for worms and all kinds of nasty stuff, like Pyro said. Lucky me there's a fix.
At first glance it didn't work, but after another reboot all seems fine, so thanks Vec bud.
I also applied the shutdown -a command Dodger advized me. And the reboot message has also vanished.

I was going to point you to that patch but, had to do the Bar-B-Que and beer thing this afternoon so this is the first I have been able to get back on. Knowing that it was on XP I could have pointed you to it sooner. Glad you got the help.
