[RP] Firefly smiled as Manticore told him the news. Being the second leader of the Reavers he was always the first to know of any interesting developments. It was not easy to notice, but he smiled. He didn't do that often anymore. Since he had been infected by the PAX many many moons ago his face had assumed an almost bestial appearance of madness, hate and enraged anger. His skin was dominated by large scars due to severe self-mutilation, and shards of metal, pushed into his flesh, decorated his face. From the remaining parts of his face he had peeled off the skin entirely. His eyes were always red and squeezed almost tight, his mouth always tense and exposing his teeth which he had filed into sharp pointed fangs making it able for him to rip flesh from human bones. Yes, Madness truly was the only Way. His face was a clear display of that.

But today he smiled. Even though the odd movement of his mouth ripped open some healing wounds from more recent mutilations, he smiled. It was not often that his prey presented itself. He was used to hunting down the prey. He often had no other choice, since any ship that ran into him fled for their lives. But in a brief  moment of lucidity he realized: This was different. This prey stood his ground. Even though he was warned very clearly for multiple times, he stood ground. There was something familiar with this. Was it the total and utter lack of recognizing danger, to stand tall and look it straight in the eye, or maybe was it his name.... 'Keeper of Darkness'.... Darkness was a place FireFly knew well. He had been there ever since the PAX found him. Emerged in it even. Became it. Darkness was the place, and Madness was the way. Would this 'Keeper' person have something in common with him?... His courage was unseen...*SNAP* - His eyes rolled over and what was left of his face twitched as the last remaining nerve ends not affected by the PAX stopped sparking. Then his eyes went back to their previous state as he threw his head back and a bestial roar filled the room.

"HIS ARROGANCE WILL BE HIS DOWNFALL!!! IF THIS NAIVE 'KEEPER' FEELS THE NEED TO USE HIS HEART DEFENDING HIS CAUSE, I WILL RIP IT OUT AND EAT IT WHILE IT'S STILL BEATING!!! THIS WILL BE A PREY WORTH HUNTING!!! ROOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!"

FireFly grinned. It was time to feast.[/RP]
