My application

I was thinking that I have got so much out of the void that I would like to give something back. So I was thinking - with all the new Void's around there are less FAQ's and so it would be a good time for me to join up and help out. I have had a good read of the the requirments and I feel I meet most if not all of them.

1: General knowlege: I have a reasonable knowlege of FL - knowing where to get nearly all the ships and equipment + a few decent trade routes. There is only one problem and that is technical knowlege. I have a basic knowlege and have helped a few guys out in the past with basic errors but I am not the best in that field.

2: Attitude: My attitude is in my opinion fairly good. I try to avoid flame wars and swearing. Also what I have learned from Maverick is that helping new guys is better done with a point in the right direction as a pose to a wad of cash. (Thanks Mav).

3: Activity: I am active every day unless I go on holiday somewhere. I am in GMT timezone meaning that I am often active during peak time when I would be most needed.

4: Bias: I will be complely un-biased towards good or evil players asking help or advice.

5: Deep water: If I get something that is not for me IE screenies of abuse or possible cheating then I will inform the player that I will passs it on to a Void and which one I sent it to - and then do so. If it is nothing serious then I will advise te player on the spot about it. I will not start threatening with bans and so on. In other words if it is something that can be dealt with by advising the player on the spot I will do so - but if it needs the attention of a Void/Admin to administer warnings/kicks/bans then I will pass it on to them. After all - Voids/Admins need a break where they can get it.

6: To sum it all up: I wanted to join because of the fact I wanted to give something back to this server, not just so I could have priveliges ect. I understand my position as a player who gives advice - not a policeman as it were. I have considered joining for a long time so it was not just a desicion made up on the spot. And finally I thank you all for reading.

Matters about Nova his application will be discussed with Nova himself. You don't have to ask for an explanation on behalf of him, he is perfectly able to do that himself. If he wishes to have an explanation, he would have pm-ed me, which he did, and to which I have replied.
Nomad insinuating that we make decisions based on 'poor reasons' is really pulling my string...
