Ok, here are my results from Speedtest.net. The pic is me getting tested with a local server, and then next is me getting tested with a server in Germany.




After Viewing these results, do you think that I should be lagging?
Since day one one I have had lag problems on the Void, my FPS game don't usually lag, but I lag here. I want to make sure its not my ISP.

i think that lag is due to some other circumstances , i don't have any idea how and what are the reasons , but sometimes i get lag too , and i always check my loss and find that im cool "zero loss" , although lately , my ping jumps from 65 "normal" to 140 "abnormal" when a big battle comes around.....

i donnu man - maybe this is due to something that will be fixed on next mod?
i have faith on this server modders , and im sure this problem will come to an end very soon

For me my normal ping since last Novembers update has been 170-180, my ping before the update used to be around 155-165. I usually don't lag if I'm in the system with one or two other people, but I lag to the point where the game is almost  unplayable in big battles. I guess the best way to remedy this is to pack up and move to Europe.

Ok - some thoughts on the subject.  If you find that you are lagging, rather than wait for the server to start kicking players off so it reaches a tolerable level, I would ask if players would consider logging off and then trying to get back on again - sometimes( not always- depending on Global Position) this can clear your "stoppage".  If you find that the /loss command is producing a high percentage and your ping is through the roof then we all would be obliged to you if you would consider others and LOG OFF - even for a bit.  Calling other players "laggers" is unhelpful and leads to a whole bunch of name calling that is frankly unacceptable.

Live I have fought you a couple of times and you didn't lag at all even though you asked me specifically to pay attention to it. So m8 there's no need to leave over this. There are more players with your connection speed who still play here. However a high ping and potential loss does bring a few disadvantages for you with it. If it's really bad, you could unwittingly create lag for others as well. If this happens, you should do the right thing and act like Zeb described. But in situations where this problem doesn't occur, there is no problem for you to just play and have fun.

As far as I know you're a good player and I would hate to see you leave over this.

By the way: You shouldn't take every and all in-game accusations of lagging too serious. Some players are very fast with these, even though the problem might not necessarily lie with the player they are accusing, but maybe with their own connection - or lack of. The result of your speed test give a high ping, but that is not a guarantee that you are lagging all the time. There are players playing here with no problems who have a higher ping that yours.
