Server connection lost

my char WarHawk seems to be having problems with the srever crashing or kicking me ,i normally ping in at 148 had no problems till this morning sun 29 july and when i enter the zoners base in hudson i go to the bar and i get kicked when i go to humbrug before i reach the planet i get kicked then i ck the server and shows no ping have cked my connections and i finding no problem. Played all day yesterday with no problems, i'm in the central US also have the char. of YellowEgle and enigma have had no problems with these char.s though at 6:00 to 6:30 am yesterday all the servers appeared down for a while when i came back on at 12:30 pm everythings back up and running is there a server problem or is it my Char WarHawk ?  :-?

If your running alot of mods for other servers, one or more of those mods could conflict with The Void making you crash... i am not sure if it would make the whole server crash but it would certainly make you crash if you have got other mods on that may conflict with The Void Mod.

Have no other mods running or installed have a clean install, removed all files completly from computer before install of clean freelancer and void mod have been playing without a hitch for about a week since fresh install, other then banking conrols were off and i got kicked from server then went back online and bank controls worked though it took most of day with no money to do much, But i managed to  muddled through, Kudo's to who ever fixed it as i spent a day make those credits. i'am and older person and have a great deal of experaince with operating systems in general have played sp for many years but multiplayer is new to me have been cking differant sites for about a month. my friend Yeti suggested the void, most people are very helpful, though some are just kids and do kid things. So far i've enjoyed the Game play here and should like to make it my home to play FreeLancer. though note i .am handicapped to a degree and my hands don't work well for pvp and such, but have a lot of fun as i've noticed the npc's are more active and fight differant and a couple of people are trying to teach me to pvp, just not sure if capable of it still thank you for the fast response and i'll try again to play. thank you for the help. if happens again then i will post it, to see if it's some other problem.

Hmm, when you connect it kicks you if your char is in space, if it is docked it is fine and if you launch to space still fine.

It's ok YellowEagle i am just glad i could help in any way possible, you did the right thing to start a fresh lot of files... this could also be due to server issues aswell, so lets just sit tight and hope an admin can sort this out.  :)

No i docked and went to pay a bribe in the zoners bar in hudson after i payed it kicked me, i restarted and when i restarted i found myself stuck in the docking port , but managed to get out then went on to hamburg ,as i neared the planet was kicked again, checked the ping and was normal about 148
after i get kicked it shows no ping to server. i even connected once with no ping showing and was started at the jump gate in hamburg. went towords planet and when i got about one jump gate from planet was kicked again, very strange and happens every time i do this this is a new char. but played it all day with no problems any suggestions with out a reload would be helpful

I think there is something wrong with the server atm. Just be patient, it will get fixed by our crack team of experts  :D

Yes that is very strange indeed mate, helps out with my investigation to helping with the crashes so thank you for your information on the bribe. I hope we can fix this prob soon.

Thank you all for the promt attention as i take care of a handicapped person to and i'm sometimes with a lot of time on my hands so i play FreeLancer. I'm and old gamer, and he is to, he doesn't play FreeLancer, though trying to get the mrs. to play have enjoyed the exploration of this mod and meeting all these player here.  :)

Thank You, i tryed it again same thing and cked server ping ,shows ping at 148. when it kicked me it shows no ping. Will try with differant char. and see what happens.

Ok i tryed differant char. First char. i had started with and .ho. said server kicked him and then kicked me again and shows no ping, thinking it's a server problem as Played first chariter all week and is trader char.(enigma) and have had no problems with it. just have to wait and see. Thank you all again

Sure thing, just i wouldn't attempt to try anything again.. maybe go a different route? stay away from that planet and docking ring?  :) if any probs then post it here we will gladly try to help  :D
