Note:

This patch consists of 5 hacks, all of them are optional.
However to be able to buy anything that costs more than 10 mio hack#4 is required.

Usage:

Copy the patch into your freelancer installation folder and run it.
(e.g. "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE")

just to clarify if someone got a doubt ... "Hack" as in "Modification"

this is a freelancer patch made by RimShot so players can buy BS,without it you cant buy BS

Yeah I hate Norton I get a warning about packed.generic.128 and it deletes the file.  With Norton internet security 2010 you can not turn off auto protect.

When i try to connect to Void, i get a FL error message (the old send or dont send to microsoft one)

Ive tried my other two servers and i can get onto them with no probs. It wont let me got on Void.

Just had a look at the place where i was told to run the patch .EXE and i have a ton of missing stuff! time for a fresh install i think, one question though...do i need this patch if i never intend to fly a cap ship???

Please let us know if there is error , and will be modified , so we don't release this info to the ESF clan website by wrong...

I cant get game to launch at all, starts with FL splash screen then crashes with Program stopped message, guess I will uninstall then reinstall to fix the problem, was fine prior to applying the patch.

when other servers work then the problem isnt the patch.
a fresh install might be good, but there is no way this patch could have deleted any files.

no need to uninstall unless you chose not to create backups, the patch alters only a single file.



for those having problems, have you said yes to all options?
if so try only the goods prices, the only critical fix concerning the void mod.
without it you cant buy any goods thats more than 10 mio. mainly capital ships.
or try to ask someone to send you the patched file.

these are just some minor tweaks they will not affect your game play, but they will be usefull

maybe it is not good for original exe file, only for cracked one

Well I installed it on my NB (Vista 64 bit edition) and it worked fine, but my desktop (XP SP2) and had the same problem as Stonyman. I selected yes to all options on both computers.
