Fixing your net(getting better connection status), no downloading, msn, or other net-applications.

That should work in most cases...

What's your connection? If you're on a very slow connection like dial-up or very slow DSL, that can cause problems too.

Also ALWAYS check that you're not downloading anything when you try to play. This not only causes you to lag, but it causes the server to lag to some extent as well.

my speed is 1mb and i check if there any download or msn is open but there is nothing i opend the server but nothing happen

Are you trying to connect to an Internet server or are you running a LAN server? If it's a LAN server your ping should be 0 or very close to it.

ya iam playing freelancer and my server ping  was 0 but nothing happen it is just not working i connect to my server and see my ping is zero like this 0  :-?

What Anti-Vi and firewall are you using, and on what operating system..?

What Anti-Virus software are you using? There's a very short list ov AV programs that don't mess with FL.
