Hello, new and could use a hand

I now have the game installed and the mod as well. I am having trouble joining the server.
I am able to get to the server list and the only one is void2115v8.  I try to select it, but it is greyed out, as well as the connect/join button at the bottom right.  Can anyone point me in the right direction, I'm not sure what else to do.[/font]

yeah... it happen to me 2 - u have windows seven )
open freelancer mod manager as an admin

right click on the icon and say run as admin
that will solve the issue

You certainly didn't DL the right mod

You need the Void2115v8

What Anti-Virus are you using and check that you firewall as an exception for Freelancer.

Also if you turn off UAC on your comp, will save you the trouble of running everything as Admin.

Always use Freelancer Mod manager v 1.3 (v 1.4 is full of buggs)
Run Freelancer Mod Manager as Administrator.
-restore backups (Tools-restore backups)
-activate mod again
-only Void mod should be activated
-if you are starting game by Freelancer shortcut on your desktop do it as administrator too

If void server is still greyed, you dont have proper mod (outdated or maybe corrupted)

Alright i will try a full reinstall.
I use the microsoft security essentials virus program.

I DLed the right mod, it may have gotten corrupt.
I have the 1.3 version of the mod manager with only the void mod activated.
UAC is disabled, port 2302 is open and set to be allowed through the firewall.

going to redo it all, maybe I'll have some luck.  Also, it always tells me that my ID isn't found when I use the Examine ID program. Whats that mean?

Victory! I got it all to work!  Thanks for the help.  What I was doing wrong was I wasn't installing as admin.

I was confused and just opened the program after it was installed as admin.  I am online as SL1DEmemphis now! thanks again!
