Well, I installed Void after seeing it on ModDB and becoming very interested. I've managed to get it running and I can join the server and play fine... but... after trying a side mission I soon realized that I was to weak to even take a single enemy. So what do I do? I have no idea where to start. Combat obviously inst going to work until I get much better equipment. I couldn't get a reply from any of the few people that were in the server at the time, so I decided to come here for help.

there are many trade routes in new york which will give you plenty of ccash for an acceptable ship and equip. also there are several great starter ships in the new planets in new york. i would tell you more but it might involve some spoilers. pm me or talk to me in game i will be happy to help you. one more thing we have many clans on this server and joining one can give you more advantages.

Trading is the best way to go if you still can't take on npc groups. Just poke around a bit, or go pm Fireaters/Slayer up there. He'll help you. After all, the sooner you get rich, the sooner he can tax you
