Windows 7 Issues

Post by MajestikOne »

Hey guys, been a few years since I last tried to get back on the void (I think). Changed operating systems twice since XP. Can someone please link me to some stuff on how to get global list working on Windows 7 or just in general how to get on the void!

I've tried firewall exceptions, port forwarding, putting my comptuer in a 'DMZ', etc. etc. and still cannot find a solution.

I am using AVG and ideally I don't want to have to switch it off, I have read in places there was a patch for this.

Please help me out! Eager for some gameplay :}

The global server list is included in the void 2112 mod so it's quite strange that you can't see any servers.

Here's a link to download the server list from:

GSWT

Install it manually see it it works.

You could also try the direct link from the mainpaige:

http://www.voidserver.com/flstats/fl_void.lnk

(look for "The Void 2112" in the list)

You should run Freelancer+Mod Manager as Admin.

Good luck.

It is probably AVG anti vi that is causing it m8, well it was with my Vista and 7 until i changed to Avira free then had no problems.

Also this mod download contains the no cd fix..... :D
