Armored Transport cargo space

I just got an armored transport ship. I was a bit disappointed to find that I couldn't use all of my cargo space. It shows 1140 out of 1540 available, and I don't have anything in there. Is this a bug or does carrying turrets count against the cargo space.

I feel like when you buy a new hard drive and when you plug it in, there's not as much space as advertised.

Its the thrusters that take up the cargo space...

I dumped the thrusters, no change.

My AT has 1140 too, just FLStat says something else.

It is a bug.

It was fixed in the 2115 mod as far as i know. Reverting back to 2112 also reversed the bug fix.
