Well I have no intention to leave this forums or community. On the other hand I find no amusement on the current mod...and I am patiently waiting for the new release.

Well I am here too. Maybe I don't post a lot but I read all posts, however about some events I will be happy to host them, furthermore 1 of the idea is still there( you can find it in early post of mine *search on topic suggestions for events* ), only what I need is time when there are more people on line and I will do my best to make event for all players. Also we from 4S at least try to get together on sunday here on Void to chat and have fun.

So just give me a time when you are available so I can plan my day to be there.

Wouldn't it be cool to have a Void Reunion? Send out mass email invitations, use the info on file right here and auto-send an invitation to every registered Voidian for a one-week reunion, where peeps can come and get set up with help all week, meet-n-greet, play, pvp, chat all week with the goal of everyone logging on together on the last day of the week, make it a Sunday, over 24-hours. Massive fights, like old times, clan reunions, wars, maybe some planned games. If that doesn't generate any interest, then what you see right here is pretty much what's left in the Void.

Sadly, i know I'm not around much. Hardly on my PC anymore. Major life changes have led me in different directions the past few years. But I do think of this place a lot and fondly, and came here today specifically to float the reunion idea. And here you all are talking like this is an idea you were just about to have.

LOL  Savage. Yeah. As if... It would be fun to try though. Been banging around the last few nights maybe 10-midnight West Coast USA time... trading, getting a ship outfitted, etc.  This mod is the same one we had when I first came aboard years ago, so it's kinda fun. All the old trade routes are there.  Back in the saddle in my ol' WA1. All set to fight, no one to pick a fight with. *sigh* It's like playing solitaire.

TBH I stopped playing FL for a long time and then I mucked about on Crossfire and now I am trying out Discovery.
Its amazing how an old game with dated grphics can still have a special hold on you that makes you throw it on for one more time.  Since I got my PS3 I hardly ever game on my PC, but I could be tempted to get back into VOID again.  Am I right in saying this is the mod with the 5 gates in alex. (god it seems like years ago. ).

Anyway WW what happened you old fart, I know that there was RL issues and I hope that you now find yourself in a happier state of mind.  If you wanna chat just send me a pm my old wingman.

Discovery is ok but it is really strict on its gameplay. Some of it bad but some of it very good.
TBH the only reason I went their was because of the player amount.  I figured that in the long run, because of its player base, it will be the last mod standing so I decided to get a char setup. nearly 200 players most night must be a sign that something is good about it.

Anyways back to the VOID.  It seems a bit of a vicious circle. My guess is that alot more people than you think still come back here and see what is happening in the forums, think about giving it another go and then see that there is nobody online and that the last post was 2 days ago.

The only way for this to change is for people to get in game and to get active on the forums again. But TBH I fall into the category above, I would love to fly around here again and meet old friends but it is hard to get the motivation when you know you will be the only one out there.

Any ideas?

Yay forum activity! Because not only the ingame player count matters, but the forums too...and if drops to zero then there is no hope.
