Hello, could use some help

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum.
I was playing freelancer (single player) 8-10 years ago, I felt the urge to play it again and I would love multiplayer, but I don't have a CD with the authentic game so I'm wondering, is it possible to play the game in your server with a cracked version?
And how to I configure things to do so?
I haven't found a detailed guide no matter how much I searched.
Already downloaded and installed the mod and mod manager, but can't seem to be able to go further into playing the game online.
Some help would be greatly appreciated!

It can also take a few mins before the Void to appear in the online list.

Hi, welcome here.

Well running Void is not that complicated. You don't even need the mod manager for it. A simply copy and paste over the original FL files is enough.

How do I get to see the server?
Once I press Multiplayer button I get the Account ID notice.
I don't have and Account ID.

That is your account ID, write it down somewhere, and press ok or accept or whatever button is there and continue to server selection screen. Wait until Void is visible on server list and hit join.

You misunderstood.
I don't have an Account ID. My game is cracked.
Can I play with a cracked game?
