The New Clan Ships

Im sorry if this has been suggested already, but i didnt have time to read all 7 pages of posts...

The clan ships could be available to all. Those who are in clans with their own ship would not want another clans ship, so that wouldnt be a problem.

Freelancers, traders, and those in clans that dont have their own ship cos they didnt know how to go about obtaining said ships (ahem), could be allowed to buy those ships, with a catch.

The person buying the clan ship, if not a member of that clan, should pay the clan leader 2 times what the ship costs, or equal the cost of the ship. That way, the ship is still available to others, but by paying the clan for it, its like getting permission for its use. No losers there. The clan gets money, the player gets the ship they want. Everyones happy.

Or could there be some system where the credits payed automatically get split between the clan members? I dont enough about coding for that idea , would it work?

The clan ships have their own Clan logo on them, so if they were available to everyone, this would be a problem.

Why not sell a version of the ship without the logo? Make the ships available on clan planets, cos the clan ships are the only ones ur gona buy from your own planet.
Have one sale slot taken up with logo clan ships, one without logos, and the other whatever other ship the clan wants.
Make the logo-less version a bit more expensive, so your paying for the privelage. Again, that way ppl get the ship, clan gets the credit and the money.
If someone is seen with a clan ship with the logo, and theyr not in the clan, KOS till they exchange it. All clans could do that, so theyd be supporting each other in keeping the logo ships to the clans.

PS When i say simple, i have no idea how one goes about making the ships in the first place, would it be possible to have one without the logo?
PSS Is this actually good thinkin or am i talking rubbish?

I think the best way is always the simplest one...therefore I find it great when you see directly by seeing the ship about which clan you have in front of you...and when people really want a ship of a clan so he had to go this clan...I give you an example: imagine Boing think the Airbus plane is a better one. It would be impossible to buy an Airbus and fly it with the boing logo...so atm it will be a challenge to increase maybe the own capacity...in life you must make a choice and so I think all clan choose one ship and that's it

the idea of changeing the skins has been brought up. It would be some more work to make another set for skins but if this idea is one everyone can agree apon then i won't mind doing it. Also the logos on ships i have gone through and deleted all the text with them. So its just the logo. So if u'r not in the can I see it as driving a car with its logo brand on it. U'r advertising the make, or in this case the clan.

The idea of money is one Strail is working on. The idea was to have the clan ships cost a consiterable amount more then reg. ships in the game. Clan ships would be free to clan memebers for Strail can add a ship to a player in through ioncross. The money from non clan members would go to the clan bank. Now this idea is one that is still being worked out so i'm not sure if it will work.

Hey, canÂ´t you use the original ships skins for the non-clan ships?? You know the ones that appeared in your first ship mod?

That way you wonÂ´t have any extra work...

Well i think the clan ships need 2 be for the clans only if your a freelancer and want a ship but its from a clan then join it. Dont whine about it there will be enough ships in the new void mod for freelancers.

But give the clans something for them self something they can be proud off 2 fly in there own ship that they can proudly fly in. Because the freelancers will have enough ships in the new void mod just.

Give a clan some for them self if you want a ship thats from a clan then join it. This way you will get money off the clan 2 get good stuff guns etc and you can fly the ship. And the clan will be happy because they have a new clan member and a new fighter under there wing.

I dont see the problem but i think give a clan something for them self thats from them and nobody els can fly in it. look at the stargate clan ship its a stargate ship its in the stargate series and all so let the stargate clan have that ship for them self same goes for the other clans.

So pls stop this whining about ships for all or just for clans because i think its crazy if you want a ship just join that clan. And stop the fuz about it its only a wast off time and if the ships would be for everybody them carter needs 2 remake all the skins again give her a break. Geeeeeeez havend she done enough already, be happy with what you have

Hey we busted caboose on these ships especially carter so if u want one join the clan DONT make this a problem ppl like the spartan go with the flow and just do it.

Ok i posted the pics of the ships so everyone can see how unique these ships are. They are based completely on what each clan wanted. I have worked with each of the clans for several months now making these ships what they are. If freelancers sill want to have acess to them then thats fine. But i'm hoping u can see now that these are truely clan ships for the clans of void, the clans that have been here for months and have stayed strong. They are a symbol that they can be proud to fly in.

Let me present a senario...

Let's say you make a ship. It takes you WEEKS of spare time to make it and you put you heart and soul into it.

You make this ship the the EXACT specifications to one clan.

NOW ADD 10 OTHER CLANS.

Now you get everyone saying...'hey, we should have dibs on this ship too'

Carter, sho3z, mani, admiral, myself and SEVERAL others have put together, tested, and RE-TESTED these ships just for the sake of MANY clans. NOW there is a discussion of if untagged characters should have access to it is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard.

This ship is a GIFT to CLANS...not to the average joe who comes here. You must PROVE yourself to be worthy to ethier do two things.

#1: You are self sufficient and can sustain yourself as a freelance pilot. You just wish for a better ship than the Anubis or Conquor. With the express permission of THAT CLAN, you fly their ship and advertise for them.

#2: You prove yourself a good fighter and wish to join a respectable clan. Then you can become one of the great killers of the Void.

ONE LAST TIME...THERE ARE UNTAGGED SHIPS THAT ARE NOT CLAN TAGGED FOR YOUR USE...

Don't like it?...tough...get over it...

This is the way it is...learn some respect for clans here and join one. ALL clans here are respectable, depending on what you are looking for.

You know what...if i see ANYONE flying a BBB ship...or ANYONE flying a clan ship without a proper tag, i will kill you on sight.

I am sick and tired of this conversation of everyone thinking they should have acces to all ships here just becuase they bitch and moan long enough..

You guys want to hate me because of this?...then go ahead and hate me..i'll still crack you hull open.
