a storm is coming... it will sweep through all the systems of sirrus. it will return fear to the hearts of traders, make them quake at the sound of jump gates activating and that erie quiet sound of space. No one is safe, not the mighty fleets of the navy, not the freelancers or mercenarys of sirrus, only pirates have the knolowage/skills to avoid the coming storm......

i have been enjoyin void for fair few weeks now but have noticed no one seems to be afraid of the pirates, traders go about their business traveling all over sirrus unescorted!, i've managed to travel to everysystem i know of (including flying around the rock in sparta) in the ship i started with and 20 gold in the hold and was unchallnged apart from npc's, i was an easy target had a level of 38 so was fair game and still nothing, so i have decided as long as no admin has problems, let me know if you do, i will return the fear to everyone i can (well as far as i can within server scripture) taxing, shooting, killing traders, navy, rogues freelancers, npc, pretty much everyone my wepons can hit

Pirates are weak and have no backbone. They will just sit somewhere and wait for someone to ask if they are gunna tax. Then they realize they should! They've lost thier edge. Thier moral has been crushed by the mases of the Navy attacks. They have become the lazy fatcats they swore were evil!

4. Pirates




Pirates are allowed to undertake their business on this server, subject to the following:


All pirates will be tagged [X]


No piracy in anyway shape or form will be undertaken in Alexandria or New York Systems


Any players not tagged [X] and conducting piracy activity on a regular basis and unwilling/refusing to be correctly tagged, will be banned.




5. PvP (Player Versus Player)/Duelling



NO PVP WITHIN 2k OF MANHATTAN, BERLIN, TOKYO, DEMOSTHENES OR LONDON (These are new player start points)



Players under level 20 should be allowed to play the game without the threat of being killed by other players, unless they wish to. Exceptions to this are when the lower ranked player is inviting a PvP or undertaking an activity that he knows will result in being fired upon. Please leave these players to enjoy the game and the server unmolested.




When undertaking a PvP, ensure you clarify and confirm if “reloading”, or using “bots and bats” is allowed, prior to the fight. This will stop bad feeling from players who never reload or do not expect the opponent to reload.




It is polite to acknowledge the victor of the PvP; this is usually done by saying “gf” (good fight) in System or Private channel.

the 2 rules that are the biggest problem on this server ( the ones pirates have the biggest problem with)

and most people wont atack a starflyer cept in my case if some one knows me they will....

ok, fair enough bout the starflier and only being lvl38 but still my point is valid, all my characters are now over lvl 40 and still the only time i've been asked to pay tax was the very first week i started playing on void, and its only recently that i traded my freighter for an anubis and even before then i was quite happy in my steppin stone flying in and around "pirates" and there systems. i'm not tryin to annoy anyone but thought i could just give a little back to the server by spicing things up a little

I am always amused by the difference how pirates are treated in-game and at the forums. The in game treatment is the reason most pirates either changed jobs or left the server.

Being new to the server and the game, I was hesitant to tax anyone till a few days ago (and a few drinks in me). I managed to aquire a couple hundred grand from a few fellow at the rock in sparta. Seems easier to just fly upscale missions. Provided ESPANA clan has not decided every decent mission system in sirius is "there territory"

in game im treated like dirt (they know who they are) by some players
