Suggestion again - Immortal List

This has been suggested before by I think Verm or Trav some months ago and I thought it was a good idea but with lots of other things happening at the time it got "lost".

Im thinking?..uhm more like I would like to do what was suggested.....like putting up a list of players who will be remembered, sort of The Immortals list.

This would be more than just a good player, or a good act, but someone we would all like to remember for their outstanding commitment / work in game or in the Void Community. Or someone who we just want to remember, who maybe passed away or left the game cause of real life issues.

I think you get the idea...I would like to get some more feedback and ideas if thats ok. And apologies to Verminard / Travesty for not remembering sooner

Great idea Strail/Verm/Trav,

some time ago I did some grave digging and looked in the elder threads.
There have been many great guys here, who made Void to that what it is.
I say yes to this proposal.

I like the idea that someone who made this virtual community their "home" and worked hard at making it the place it is gets remembered, even in a small way. It lets those new to the Void see that its not just about the frags. Thumbs up. Great Idea.  :D

We've had alot of players who left, for example, Nam and Kodiak.

No Problem Strail mate, it's been such a busy time for you admins the past few months, it must feel good to finaly have time to think about things like this.Glad people still seam to like the idea.

well everyone said its a good idea,  but there are no suggestions of names to include???

a hall of fame is a  great idea,
we have had so many great guys and gals venture into the void... some are still here, some have now sadly moved on to pastures new but they are all great people and would be good to see their name in lights so to speak for recognition of what they have done for the VOID

a couple of names that should def be put on this list are

• KODIAK
  Mama Shee

these two great people get my vote, couldn't  meet two nicer people who went above and beyond the call of duty to help people out, both in game and on the forum....

gotta give a shout out to nam, angel x22  and constentine for helping people boost there artistic skills, worth mentioning that on a "great voidians" page

Raistlin and Entropyslayer should have a mention too i think, the two greatest pirates i seen in the 15 months i been plodding around here in the void

A great idea, and let me suggest a neame to sit well at the top of that list: MAFIA-Zachary.

Other indespensable names, imo, that haven´t been mentioned already are  Becker, Doom and Chaos. Of course there are many others I would like to see in that list,  but I will make others suggestions if the idea goes forward.

I've been thinking of a format to use for this and as I imagine most would want it in a place where it was visible how about placing it in a block on the home page and having a section in the forums where it could be viewed and people could post suggestions as to names to be included. As it will probably end up having a few names, and to save space on the front page, you could add it as a scrolling marquee. Just a few ideas.

I'd like to second some names already mentioned: KODIAK for definate. Namonaki for the art work and the assistance given to me.
Asmo and Asmo's Wife also for their humour and patience with a new player (me!).

The A team - cos without them this place would be a mess.

I vote - Black Marble with Gold Lettering in Gothic Script for the memorial.........

(just tryin' to remember that this is an Immortals list and not just a "mates" list - tricky cos there are a lot of deserving players out there!)  8)

I hope The Great XEF members will be in there,incluiding Wraith,Reaper,Connie and Pest...Saints - Becker,Vector,Famine and Luke...Admin Team,Knights (JK) and BBB (Verm,Trav and Way)...DTA  :lol:

There are a lot of people who were here,who left,changed names or still here,that really deserve to be in that list...
