I'm with you mate - the Void definitely needs more pirates.  I used to spend a ton of time wearing an X tag - I started to get really intense about it too.  I even bought a freighter so I could make more money off of stolen cargo.

Then came the ISB, and I basically fell in love with the RP.  The navy side can be fun sometimes (I think we have a little bit more of a challenge when the shooting starts...) but I'll admit I miss the freedom of the pirate roleplay.  But I'm not going to switch sides on anyone anytime soon.

If you want to be a pirate - a "real" pirate, as you say - then do it, m8!  It can be hard sometimes, but it's always a ton of fun.  Good luck!

(By the way, if you ever need any advice, just ask me if you see me in-game.  We're in the same time-zone usually - anything with an ISB tag is going to be me 9 times out of 10.  And if you ever run into my trader character, I'll do my best to make the chase entertaining.  :D  )

well was holding off on this until I had things in better shape, but here goes. HFC is returning, and we are THE pirate clan to be feared. Ask any of the old timers that remember the days that HFC terrorized the star systems. We are rebuilding, but when we are done, I can promise you a pirate experience like no other, taxing, system raids, shut down of travel, and all the torps and gravy you want. lol

My [AoF][X]NYDiesel[X] char is very active m8!, but as AoF sometimes is hard to find targets. Only untagged players, and that's hard to find nowadays. And much more if you see 50-60% of the players online at Sparta.
So many times I can only tax 1-2-3 players, and frequently only 1 of them pays. But I don't give up.

Pirates are not the same as they used to be.They just fight in Sparta like 99%players on void.Rouges changed a lot aswel,grouping whit some clans or freelancers,fighting in groups and not doing their job.

There is no difference anymore between rouges and pirates, except pirats can tax and rouges can't.

Well we pirates may hang out in sparta, especially since for myself, I have not flown in over a year so I am rusty and welcome being attacked in Sparta to refresh my skills, Thank you [Orion]Cpt_the_Mon.

Now if Pirates are being lazy hanging around in Sparta, what are the Navy doing? I have flown my Pirate and Rogue for that matter, without a single instance of being hunted down for the scum I am. Nope, Navy are all in Sparta or Alex doing whatever it is on duty Navy do.

Maybe once my clan is back to full strength, we will start locking out systems, forcing the Navy to put down thier beans, and the Police to drop thier donuts, and come stop us.

As to Rogues or Pirates grouping with non tagged char's, remember we are players here too and not unwilling to help a new player find a few tinings or help them get set up. We want new players developed too as they are targets later lol

Well as to you it? If a pirate met me 1v1 and will want a tax, I promise that will execute next rules:
1.A pirate can do regens.
2.If a pirate will win in pvp 1v1 with me I will pay for every his victory of 200k*n*n.(N is a number of successive losses).I offer it because if a pirate won, I considered that I in his captivity and except for a tax for a passage-way I now must pay redemption for the freedom.
3. But if he will lose that he is under an obligation to pay me redemption for his freedom, and as a pirate a priori is poor ( otherwise he is a not pirate), his redemption  of 100k.
4. These rules start acting only after mutual assent to beginning of pvp  and complete the action after a calculation for every pvp.It is eventual not to behave to the case of tax trader.
5.And certainly violators of these rules will be my sworn enemies, and I forgive the enemies never, never, never...

The Piracy RP will remain mostly dead as long as the (R) tag is allowed for usage on this server.
As for the return of the HFC clan - i must be having a deja-vu as i read about the same return a year ago and nothing happened.
Sorry about the negativism but how about actually doing something instead of just talking about it.
