Well that is a fact the DTA clan were forced me to seek revenge ... :D
Without them maybe i be long gone. In this process i ve found some friends that is balance from all the arrogance comming from some players :D
Hard to admint but negative feelings can force ppl to make more negative feelings instead of solving them :D
Maybe i don't wanna be a balanced person thats why im still here :D

I think the ppl is still here are addicted to stress....
....in hope i'm wrong :D

It is true What Lucky says, negativism on the internet usually attracts more people, old and new, to places that they can argue and be more negative about it is a fact with one exception.
I would love to keep in touch with people from the Void if you ever transfer onto other games. Feel free to contact me one:

What i find negative LuckyLuke is the fat that you have decided that none of your work should be introduced in this Void mod or any other Void mod. (hardpointed ships for example etc etc)

I think you should read what Predator wrote very carefully:
I lost to circa 3 bilion and  25 chars, i lose my stats,30000 npc kills, and and, but if the Void get back to life im glad to lose all this, and is fun to be a noob again :)
SCREAM ON!
There were players like LOT for example who had 124000 npc kills and 3000 hours+ spend on the server.Or Asmo with 58000 npc kills 1500 hours+ spend on the server. And i could go on with many more examples.
Thing is that these players didn't moan about the fact that all their in-game "work" was wiped with the introduction of thw 2112 mod.Quite on the contrary they joined the server from the first day and rebuild their chars from scratch.

I think you and Saman should compare their situation with yours.Their hours spend playing with yours modding.Their "work" in game with your "work" off the game.
I admit that i was very rude towards the modders team with accusations of incompetency and lack of imagination/professionalism etc etc.
Wanting only Strail to take over (but little did i know what your modding work was)
All this mainly due to frustration that the mod didn't attract players and that from my point of view it wasn't quite biuld after players wishes.

Yes,there are some issues in 2112 with ships falling apart and equipment being lost. Also same stats for guns, mines, missles etc.My concern is that this will irritate many players and they wont know what to do.I'm not sure but i think that ships/equipment fall apart due to lack of hardpoints (your work) i could be wrong.

Anyways it's your work man and if you don't want it here then so be it.But just think about it.

Please don't pretend it was a serious attempt at a thread. That's childish. I understand why you're pissed and have no problem with it, but when you start mouthing over it in the way this topic does, expect me to start firing back...whether you want to pretend you're innocently trying to discuss something, or not.

@burn, zeus:
you dont seem to understand this has nothing to do with mods, just studies about communities/forums i found interesting and worth sharing/discussing, after all this is a community/forum.

@burn:
cant just leave your lengthy post uncommented, you actually call playing a game "work"? @-)
you gotta be kidding me, you cant compare time spent playing with time spent modding. seems you dont have a clue at all what it takes to make a mod or you wouldnt accuse me of being responsible for the problems that you are facing now, made me laugh though.
so you didnt know what our modding work was? did you actually play the mod? read the readme.txt file? did you try to ask for more information? if so did you wait for an answer? judging by your feedback which im too lazy to quote now, not.
you know, we could have worked out a solution good for all, the team was willing to but strail was not. there is more to it, but i dont wanna cause any more problems here.
being accused of not listening to the community and backstabbed by ppl like zeus. you must realise that after all what happened, you got what you wanted and we have moved on. im happy with my new life and whoever wants to know what we are up to just has to keep their eyes open.
peace out ;)

Backstabbed. Explain.
@burn, zeus:

As per your post here, you say you're "out", so why would you bother sharing/discussing things at a place you've left on not the best of terms? Not to mention you going off and doing your own mod etc. You just implied yourself that modding is a lot of effort, so shouldn't you be spending the time on that? I find it hard to believe you just simply want to "share" things you find "interesting".

And so you can't keep trying to hide behind words, I'll spell it out so other people reading this thread can see.

1-Server activity has been very low in the recent past, could have been for a variety of reasons. (Old game etc)
2-Recent 2115 releases haven't really increased activity that much. Could just be because the game's old.
3-2112 is restored and the 2115 mods are scrapped.
4-You're very unhappy about this due to the work you've put in.
5-You understandably declare you don't want any of your work put into the mod and say you're leaving.
6-Server activity has seen an undeniable spike since 2112 was restored. Maybe this is due to several reasons such as random people finding their old FL CDs, or trying a new server.
7-As you're disgruntled and there's now some bad blood, you compare the status quo to "negative emotions".
8-You post this bullshit just out of spite to claim the only reason activity is spiking is because of these "negative emotions".

There. It's not you have to deal with anyone face to face, so you don't have to try and hide.

lol, im not disgruntled, re-read my post.
i didnt really care about player numbers as the primary goal was to fix the mod before going to advertise it.
and whats wrong giving you an interesting subject even if im not participating the discussion myself?
anyway, please just lock the post, discussion wont do no good unless locking out ppl like burn and zeus.
so yea, thats it you wont see me here ever again rest assured, have fun.

If you're not disgruntled, why are you leaving and saying you want none of your work here?

I got nothing against you Rimshot, but if you behave like this, I'm gonna call you out on it. Good luck with your future mod-related endeavours, I'm sure the FL community will hear a new mod on the block in the future. Same to Draugr as he appears to have gone, too.

Right,my opinion about "Negative emotions boost users activ".
Most negative emotions shown on a forum result from a Real Life frustration:Bad day at work/school,argues,break ups, disease, suffering, etc etc

So you basically have a bad day, join a forum and read something you don't quite agree with and let all your frustrations out on that. This results in entertainment for some readers but also in frustration and annoyance for others.
Results being others answering in the same negative style.
And it just goes on and on like a vicious circle untill a new thread pops up with a similar flame.(religion, race, politics, economics etc etc many topics that can lead to negative emotions on forums.

Back on topic:
you actually call playing a game "work"? you cant compare time spent playing with time spent modding.
Yes,with the word work in brackets i ment the time spent in front of a computer.
I think you can very well compare the time spent playing with the time spent modding.
Modding may of course take more concentration and skill but at the same time it must be fun and enjoyable knowing that something is being created in a game.

so you didnt know what our modding work was? did you actually play the mod?read the readme.txt file? did you try to ask for more information?
Yes i have played the 2115 mod and what i saw was exactly Samans vision of a new mod build on the backbone of the 2112 mod.You can read his thread "War breaks out in Alexandria" and that's exactly what he has done.Adding Battleships and npcs spawns near Jump Gates just to point out that there is a conflict going on.(Alexandria being invaded by Europe)
Renaming Europe into Europol,Pirates into Buccaniers - not very original. And there are many more examples.
you know, we could have worked out a solution good for all, the team was willing to but strail was not. there is more to it,
Strail did exactly what was needed.A radical change reverting back to 2112.
being accused of not listening to the community and backstabbed by ppl like zeus. you must realise that after all what happened, you got what you wanted and we have moved on. im happy with my new life and whoever wants to know what we are up to just has to keep their eyes open.
peace out ;)
Well good luck then to you and commander saman with your new mod.Who knows maybe it will have the same success as the 2115 mod had? ;)

As for us here I don't think there will be any more negative emotions shown given the fact that the 2112 mod is considered by many the best mod of the Void.
Yes there are some small issues with it but i'm sure they will be delt with as soon as possible.
